Customer feedback mentions a broad inventory and helpful guidance from certain staff members, especially when comparing paver and turf options. Several reviewers note timely delivery and assistance with loading. There are also reports of inconsistent customer service at the counter, with some visitors feeling communication could be more welcoming. Pricing is often described as fair for the area.

This review is strictly for the customer service - or really lack of. My husband and I purchased some stonewall material here in order to build our flower bed in the backyard. My landscaper suggested going here to buy the material and that he would go ahead and call them to let them know how much material we needed prior to me buying it. I called the next day to verify that my landscaper did in fact call them and to see how much the total was before I drove over there to pay for it. Unfortunately, I was met with such negativity and dismissivness on the other line that still today (about a month later), it makes my blood boil and I hope to steer others away from this place. The man who answered my call (sounded on the older side), was incredibly rude to a customer who just bought over $2,500 worth of material. I asked him how much the material cost and he mumbled it back to me. I asked him to repeat it and he sighs in exasperation and says it again. I wanted to verify that the stone wasn't in fact tumbled since I didn't like that kind of look and he proceeds to tell me in a rushed and irritated manner that all of it is already tumbled. I was confused because when I visited the yard a few days earlier and spoke to someone else, they showed me the tumbled look and said it was specifically done to create this type of look but not every batch was like it. It's specifically asked for. So I was confused by what I was hearing on the phone and instead of just getting clarification, I was met with a rude, can care less, "I already got your money" attitude from this employee. The thing that bothered me the most was that this individual THEN proceeds to tell me "well you didn't even come here and look at the stone." As I was trying to tell him that yes, my husband and I drove out to Simi specifically to look at the stone a few days prior, he cut me off and stated again, "you did not come here. You went to a different yard in Oxnard." I was stunned. HOW DARE YOU! Shame on you for not knowing what customer service is and representing the business you work for in that manner. After I finally was able to cut him off and tell him that I did go to the Simi yard, all I got in response was "Oh....". No apology for accusing me of going somewhere completely different.

Overall, this place is a joke when it comes to customer service and I will NEVER be a customer here again and will urge family and friends to go to another stone yard in Oxnard called Angelus. I should have went there in the first place.

I went in knowing nothing and was trying to find out information on both pavers and turf. Randy was amazing. Great guy. Walked me through everything and wrote down prices for a number of options. Extremely helpful.

Went into place for info on how it works with picking up bulk. I was not sure on what I wanted to do and was looking for some recommendations. This place, the men there look at everyone like they're stupid, very unapproachable. I will definitely be sending all my friends and family else where. My landscaper will not be getting his material from there. I was so disappointed because I was ready to spend some money. I've been a Simi resident for 50 years and this was my first time and last time here.

They did more than expected. Workers made a custom wired basket so cobble and pallet would fit into my the back of my SUV using forklift. Took the best rock down from higher stack, and helped me load rocks. Price was super cheap compared to paying someone. This is my second visit in past 2-3 years. Will go back again.

We are homeowner in Newbury Park and did our own stone purchase for a patio and stepping stones. We went to several yards and I was impressed by how clean and organized Simi Pacific yard is. The trucks are clean and I actually seen the drivers shine their wheels. We bought three thousand pounds of stone, (Utah Sunrise), bricks, sand, DG and garden supplies. Everything arrived exactly as we ordered and exactly on time. The driver was super nice and made a great effort to get the bricks as close as he could to make our life easy. The same with the sand and DG,
When the masons came to install the stone, we realized we bought stones that were too small for our needs. We are doing this for the first time, and had no idea what we were doing. We called the yard, they asked us to come and pick up another stone and we had to pay for delivery again, which I was very very happy to pay. They took the other pallet and deliver the new one within a two hour time slot. They were terrific and I would work with them again , hopefully I will know a little more what to ask for. We went back several times for more gravel and always left feeling cared for and with samples for my wife.
If there were six stars I will give them the sixth for excellent customer service!
