Although I couldn't find exactly what I wanted, they checked every other source nearby for me. Evidently there's been a run on tan border blocks. Got what I needed at a great price. Loaded me up quickly. Happy.
Had a pleasant experience here today. Looking for a match on some existing retaining wall cement blocks that were with the straight sides. They had the exact size I needed, they rang me up quick, the yard crew met me as I was walking out the side door, fetched the goods and helped me load. All staff were extremely friendly and I felt like they appreciated my business of 17 largo blocks. Those damn blocks must weigh 50 lbs. or better, I don't know how they do that kind of work all day long...

Thank you all, and I hope that I have been helpful!There is a simple reason White Block has been around since 1947. Excellent front desk service, reasonable prices, and a very friendly and helpful yard crew! While there's not much to elaborate on when talking about chunks of concrete and stone, there is much to be said about how to get it. I had an odd request for a smallish project I was completing, and the gentleman at the desk listened to what I was doing, understood, and guided me to exactly the material I needed. Took my slip outside and the dude on the forklift (BTW awesomely skilled operator) showed me what I needed, weighed it, helped me get it in my truck, I paid, and I was outta there. Great experience! Thank you.
