I hired Paul to repair our chimney after a bad storm tore through Springfield causing a tree to fall into it. While the initial repair didn't exactly pan out and failed to take hold, Paul started from scratch at his cost and replaced the entire crown with limestone. His crew also tore out and replaced some columns lining our front stops with all new block and it looks fantastic. We really appreciated his eagerness to get the job done while also making sure we felt good about their work. Thanks again Paul.
Our neighbors contracted with Classic Masonry to rebuild our common mailbox for which we agreed to share the cost. Our mailbox (375) was installed misaligned. Please see the before and after photos. When I called to ask that it be leveled, the conversation ended with the person to whom I was speaking hanging up, without any offer of resolution. Not only were we dissatisfied with the unacceptable workmanship, but there were rude undertones during the conversation. For example, my husband was speaking to me in the background. The person to whom I was speaking said, What's the matter he can't come to the phone?" As a matter of fact, he'd just retuned home from one of his thrice weekly dialysis treatments and was preparing to eat, as he doesn't consume anything prior to treatment. That was his priority at the moment! Also, in an unpleasant tone, I was asked, " What are you asking, for us to come and tear down the entire mailbox?"to which I replied, "I'm asking that it be made level." Additionally, I was told the slot below the mailboxes is rarely, if ever used. However, the package visible in the photo arrived today. Not only would I not recommend this business due to unacceptable workmanship, but their customer service is certainly less than desirable.
One of the worst shade tree “Masons” in the area. Very racist and unprofessional. Hires people and doesn’t pay what’s promised. Poor workmanship and does not have the correct tools for most jobs. Will ask homeowner for tools he should have.Does not use correct materials for most jobs. So expect future repairs. Would not have this man around my children or wife. With the upmost respect Paul is not the man he claims to be. In the pictures below I’ll describe. Less than 800 brick going on almost 5 days. The measurements within this are flawed, and non uniform head/bed joints. Expect repairs.
Paul was quick to respond to my call. He repaired some bricks on my patio step. The job was completed on time and reasonably priced. Paul cleaned up well after work was completed. I would use Classic Masonry again
