We selected Apex to do all the hardscaping work at our new lakefront home, and it was the best decision we made. From the beautiful entry pillars, to the stone work on our home, to the microetched driveway and porch, to the paver patio, we are in love with our outdoor spaces! Apex Custom Concrete & Masonry took our vision from the past five years of dreams and brought it to life, completely exceeding our expectations! We wanted to create a family-oriented patio that would meet our needs of spending more time outside with family and friends. The final result has given us so much more flexibility to entertain or to even just enjoy a quiet evening relaxing after a long day of working. To be able to have multiple seating areas and make it all flow as if it has been a part of our backyard since building our house has been amazing. The seating wall and the fire pit have become the focal point of the patio. Many laughs and stories have been shared around the fire pit in the evenings with our teenage sons, friends and other family members. These memories will be cherished because we have a place to be a family and enjoy our time together. We could not be happier with the workmanship, the attentiveness and the personal touches that Apex (especially from both Mark and Aaron!) provided throughout our experience. Their communication has been top-notch from start to finish. When we ran into an issue with our fire pit due to the limestone caps cracking after only a few fires and being less than a year old, they did not hesitate in fixing it immediately and coming up a solution to the problem. I cannot say enough great things about this company and all of the staff at Apex. If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! We definitely will keep them in mind for future projects and have recommended them to many friends already!
I have done business with Mark at Apex Custom Concrete & Masonary on several projects at our lake home in Marblehead, Ohio. Over the last 4 years he has exceeded my expectations on these projects ....and now years later they still have the looks and integrity that make what I paid him a solid investment. So often mother nature and father time have a way of undoing the best developed plans. No so with Mark and Apex. I'm very satisfied and plan on using Mark again in the next couple of years for additional (new) work at the same home.PS: Mark is multi talented ....he not only works with the crews at the job sites - he has a great eye to help the customer in designing and creating an attractive project incorporating the appropriate materials to to achieve that "drive by good looks" and long lasting performance.
