Mike is very pleasant to deal with. He is not only an excellent craftsman but a real expert in his field. His work is very neat and he cleans everything up after he is finished. He did tuckpointing for us, and colour matched the mortor perfectly. It is difficult to differentiate his repairs from the original mortor. He also did some repairs to a flagstone porch, and while not his field of expertice, he did an excellent job. Although this is late in the season, he did not mind working around the weather. His priceing was very competitive and no deposit was required up front. My wife and I are very pleased, and are thinking of having Mike back in the spring to do some more work.
Mike was just outstanding! I really can't say enough good about him. He takes real pride in his work - and rightly so. He is very professional, has great expertise and is very meticulous. He redid my parging, repointed brick, and fixed a pretty nasty section at the rear of my house. Now all looks great and I have peace of mind that my home is in great shape. Oh and he's price competitive too! All around great guy - would call him on any job.
Mike is a pleasure to work with. Our brick was not in good condition when the deck ledger was removed. He understood exactly what repairs were needed and colour matched all the joints to make it look like the rest of the house again. Good honest work and communication throughout. Would definitely recommend his company!
I decided to use Brown's Contracting on the side of my 100 year old home that badly needed tuck pointing. Mike showed up on time every day. His attention to detail is quite impressive. All his joints blended is perfectly with what was there bearing in mind he had to add a dye through his mix. I used someone else a few years ago to do the back of my house but they have retired since then. I thought their work was good but Mike's work ethic and quality is definitely a step above.I'll definitely be using Mike again in the future!!
I have a brick porch that had a lot of spalling bricks. Previous repairs weren't done very well. Mike made the right suggestions and while his price wasn't the cheapest it was very fair. Mike was excellent throughout. Great communication, good work, fair prices. He does indeed do his best to deliver what he promises. He takes pride in his work. I'd recommend him to anyone looking for someone who is willing to do what it takes to get a good result.
