Overall, the renovation process went very smoothly. There were a few bumps along the way, but Bryan and his team always pulled through and made things right in the end.With any renovation project, there will inevitably be hurdles. What matters most is having an honest and reliable contractor you can trust. My dad became very comfortable with the workers, and they all emphasized that Bryan always makes sure the client is happy. The team was also responsive whenever something needed attention and came back promptly to fix issues.Tips / Considerations-You will need to hire an architect before Bryan can begin the project. We worked with Serge Mayer, who was excellent and very familiar with the City of Upland permitting process. The architectural planning phase took about 1–2 months.-Hire a designer early in the process. Bryan and the team made great suggestions, but having a dedicated designer would have helped tremendously with the finer details. Ideally, bring a designer in during the architectural phase so the final result feels cohesive from the beginning. A designer can also help select higher-quality materials, improve the functionality of the space, and provide an additional perspective throughout the renovation.Would we hire Bryan again?Absolutely — 100%. The only thing we would do differently is hire a designer from the start.10-Month UpdateAbout 10 months after the renovation, a few minor issues came up, but Bryan and his team returned and fixed everything at no additional charge. That level of follow-through and customer service really stood out to us.
I hired Hostetler construction to build a new fence. From beginning to end Bryan kept me informed and updated. His guys did excellent work, respected the property and were very professional. The project started on time and ended a day earlier than anticipated. Hostetler will be at the top of my list for future projects. I cannot recommend Bryan and his team enough.. Great job!
One word to describe Hostetler Construction is Wow! In a society where it can feel like the consumer doesn't really matter and it is just only about the money, is the furthest thing from this company. Bryan and his team are absolutely the best and go above and beyond. He is very honest and works with your budget offering various suggestions to help bring costs down. He is very thorough in writing up bids, contracts and communication. Home remodeling is already stressful enough but this team made the whole process amazing. All the vendors that were recommended were also amazing to work with. Like all construction projects there will be issues that arise however this team always solved it before we even noticed. You can tell this team takes pride in the quality of their workmanship. We are overjoyed with how things turned out. We would recommend Bryan Hostetler and his team in a heartbeat. We will also definitely use this team in the future for other projects we are saving up for.

We hired Hostetler Construction for a garage build. Our historic home did not have a garage and Bryan and his team built this beauty (see pics) from the ground up. His team was professional and courteous. All of the guys were a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend Bryan and his team, there were so many great guys that came and worked on the project they all did a great job, but special kudos to Jake and Noah as they both were very dedicated to help bring this project to life and making sure we were happy with the final outcome. If you are in need of a small or big project Hostetler Construction is the way to go.
