Stop, don’t listen to the haters on these reviews. They’re all mad bc they don’t know how to finish concrete or they can’t afford it. These people made my day, the office lady was super nice and helpful. Russ in the yard, he’s the man! Quick and easy pick up and drop off, no complaints. On multiple occasions, I have encountered issues with the delivery of concrete, consistently receiving less than the quantity ordered. This recurrent shortfall has not only caused delays in my projects but has also led to additional expenses and frustrations.Furthermore, I advise caution regarding the company's pricing structure and the quality of the concrete provided. In my experience, there have been instances of unexpected extra charges, and the quality of the concrete has not always met the standards expected for construction projects.As a seasoned professional, I take pride in my work and rely on dependable suppliers to support the success of my projects. Regrettably, Castle & King Landscape Materials has not met the level of reliability and integrity that I require in a supplier.In light of these experiences, I believe it is important to alert others in the industry to exercise caution when engaging with this company. Customers “BEWARE”This company will rip you off.I called to get a quote on the cost of concrete, i was quoted $141.00 per yard, it sounded like a reasonable price, i showed up and requested 3 yards, each trip took one yard, when i was done i when back to return the barrel, I made sure to clean the barrel as good as i could, as i came in to the office i was informed that the barrel was not clean to their standards, the barrel was empty and clean!! there was no possible way it could have been any cleaner, i was told they would charge me an additional $100.00 i when out to show them that it was clean and they refused to even look. Unfortunately it did not end there, Once i reviewed the bill they charge me and additional $60.00 for (Emergency Freight Surcharge) they charged me $94.50 (barrel Mixer) and $100.00 for a dirty barrel, this company does have the a sign for the $100.00 charge for a dirty barrel, that’s why i made sure it was clean, but they do not have anything posted for the bogus charges, nor was i verbally disclosed that there would be additional charges, this company has been ripping people off and it needs to stop, many of the customers speak very little English and don’t complain. This company owes me: $60.00 emergency freight surcharge $94.50 barrel mixer $100.00 dirty barrel fee But more important they need to stop this corrupt and misleading and racist practices.
Castle and king showed up on a saturday at 7am on time. I had 2 trucks holding 9.5 yards, the trucks were 20 minutes apart. The concrete was colored perfect. Very reasonable price. I would recommend castle and king to anyone who is looking for concrete. Looks beautiful.
We ordered a full truck of concrete and it was on time, and poured well. The driver was nice and professional. Very good concrete delivery!
