updated review to 1 star - Sadly, Devon has really had a change in his performance from when he previously did work for me. I hired him to do masonry and soffit work on two projects in 2024. I discussed the scope of work with him beforehand and specifically asked if he was able to handle both jobs. He promised that he was capable and would complete both of the jobs by Christmas, however he then left mid project to move onto another job leaving me in a lurch and blowing up my completion schedule. He said it was taking him longer than he thought so he had to blow me off to jump onto another job that he didn't want to loose out on. So I guess the promise to me was only to secure the work for himself and he truly didn't care about my schedule. He did return to finish the work a few months later. The following summer I had a couple sections of soffit (that he installed) blow off. He was reluctant to come back and repair his work and made excuses for why his installation failed. A few months later the same "repaired" section blew out again and another section blew out on the second project he worked on. Devon will not return calls and will not come back to repair his soffit work. His masonry work was still good, but he really jacked me with leaving the project mid stream. I'm quite disappointed in his refusal to warranty his siding work.It's really unfortunate that he doesn't stand behind his work and that he no longer keeps his promises. You don't make a good reputation for yourself if you are unreliable with your commitments.
Devon recently put stone up on two fireplaces in our new home build. Devon‘s attention to detail skill and knowledge were above average. His work ethic and scheduling pricing was very professional. I would highly recommend Devon at BC Masonry for any job large or small.
