Reading through the reviews, it's easy to see that, unless you say something nice, he will blame the customer and tell the customer they are the problem. Perhaps he is okay with concrete work, but I would NOT recommend him for anything wood-related. He completely exploded at me after I told him he did not build things to my satisfaction and I have had to spend money to fix his mistakes. He doesn't have any design plan and makes all sorts of mistakes that he then blames the customer for. He doesn't listen to what the customer wants and tells the customer they are the problem. Lesson learned, I guess. I won't be using him again for any future projects.
We had Heinz and Jason out to repair our front porch as well as pour new steps. From start to finish Project X provided excellent customer service and communication throughout was top notch. They took care of all demolition, ripping out of unwanted bushes and removal of old steps. They built exactly what we wanted and their attention to detail was excellent. We would recommend Project X to anyone looking to have their concrete repaired or new construction done. Thank you Project X!
Do not use this contractor, especially if you are a woman. I contacted Heinz to get a quote on repairing some concrete stairs and building a retaining wall around my front yard. He wasn't listening to what I wanted and basically wanted to rip out my front yard and gardens which is not what I asked for. He even tried to tell me that I am going to need to replace my front porch eventually when it is perfectly fine. I felt he was just trying to turn it into a much bigger job than it needed to be for his advantage. He even said "this is not the job I was hoping for". Well that makes two of us. Very disappointed.
Couldn’t say enough good things about Heinz and Jason- they did a spectacular job repairing our porch (pillars, steps and foundation). We spend months trying to find a company who would take on the job and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome. Heinz is very knowledgeable and he kept us in the loop during the entire project.I will post after photos when the pillars are painted .. attached are some photos of before and during the repair.Would certainly recommend Project X
I had my front porch, landing and steps done by Project X Construction in October 2020. They tore out the old porch, landing and two sets of steps then poured and finished new ones. The job was completed in the time given and the site cleaned up. The team was friendly and respectful at all times. The finished project is functional (steps are the correct height now) and looks fabulous! I would recommend this company and would not hesitate to employ them again.
