Purchased a 1947 Lannon stone cape cod. Inspection report pointed to chimney and mortar deficiencies. Realtor recommended a few firms. TK always followed up and quotes were complete with excellent photos. They were patient talking me through processes. It was a big job. Finally the winter of 2026 added damage to the porch. Now I had the chimney, 2 story mortar repairs (all over) and the porch. TK was very responsive; updated quotes, showed up when promised, scheduled the work pronto and worked through terrible spring storms. When the sun finally came out, there were a few touch ups and inspection to do...TK returned on time, handled last minute tasks, ensured the storm windows were cleaned. Must say the chimney work was so stellar neighbors started calling to say how nice it looks. It was properly capped and a few new stones added for stability and leveling and all products match the beautiful home. With several quotes competitive, I chose TK because of responsiveness, reputation, and the skilled crew (and enough workers) to get it done with proper equipment for a large home. Thank you Tony and Kyle and crew.
TK Mason did some exquisite work on our 1926 bungalow. Hands down would work with them again. Please note that the patchwork area in my second image was done long before I owned this house, TK’s work blends in so well it’s really hard to even see.
We are very pleased with TK Masonry’s tuck point service on our 150 year old, cream city brick home. Starting with a reasonable quote, prompt scheduling of the service and excellent communication, the work was done in one day with a hard working group of tuck-point professionals. Mortar color and finish were carefully replicated to fit the buildings character. Clean up was thorough and prompt. We would highly recommend and will certainly use them again.
TK Masonry took away all my worries! My middle garage post which is a bearing post was crumbling after 53 years. The job this company did was beyond amazing! I can’t recommend them enough! It’s not only sturdy but also a piece of art! They also connected me with a garage door company they work with as I had to have new garage doors installed and Kyle from TK took care of everything for me! Kyle unfortunately also was stuck creating the new cedar overhang but he also created a work of art! I will be contacting them again for my front steps/porch! A great company to work with!
Update: Kyle contacted me the next day as he hadn't been made aware previously of the incident. He was very apologetic and offered to replace the damaged wood piece outside but I declined as I did not think that was necessary for the small area. He did come and wipe down the interior window trim with a sponge/solution which seems to have helped with the smoke smell.Hired TK Mason to perform some tuckpointing on the front of our house. I was happy with the estimate and scheduling process; price seemed fair. Time will tell as far as how the repairs hold up. There was a decent sized drip left on one area. During torching the flame apparently caught the siding and wasn't noticed. I was sitting inside and smelled something burning and then noticed smoke coming in the living room window. I ran outside, they poured some water on and thankfully the damage wasn't worse, but I shudder to think about what could've happened had I not been home for an unplanned sick day. The entire house including the basement smelled like smoke... after washing the curtains and having the windows open for hours in 20-something weather it's finally mostly normal. However the wood trim and drywall in that area of the living room reeks and will likely need to be repainted or replaced. Unfortunately based on this experience I cannot in good conscience recommend this business.
