I cannot recommend Frank and his team enough. I hired them to repoint part of the interior of my stone foundation as well as the exterior of my garage. I spent a long time searching for someone that would do this kind of work and do it well - a lot of what I found online was not high quality or they would just put mortar over the joints and stones and call it a day. I was very concerned because the mortar was crumbling quickly and from the moment Frank saw the job when he came to quote it, he put me at ease. From start to finish Frank and his team did an amazing job. The quote came in quite reasonable, and when we identified that the walls of my garage that are only accessible from my neighbors' property were worse than what I hired Frank to repair, he worked to keep the overall price of the job reasonable in spite of the expanded scope. He documented everything in written scope documents, he communicated via different channels (including text and email) and was always prompt with his response, and he even supplied a written warranty at the end of the job. I've hired a lot of great contractors in the past and Frank is now at the top of the list. I'll absolutely hire him again for any future masonry work I have. I've included an example before and after of some of the worst section of the foundation.

I initially reached out to Burns Masonry after he came recommended from a friend where they had also done some foundation repointing, (the same work I needed). After checking out his work and reading through the great reviews online, I gave them a call and "Frank" came out to my house the same day and provided an estimate with 2 days which was extremely detailed and broken down with 2 different options on how to do the work since I told him I was working within a budget. His pricee to fully repoint the basement foundation walls and add waterproofing was within my budget which I was shocked at since other estimates I had received from other company's were much much higher.
Frank and his team removed all the old mortar between the stone which was giving me a headache with constantly having to vacuum up the failing dust. I had a lot of questions about almost everything as I'm not familiar with this type of work. Frank explained in great detail and his communication throughout the entries process was exceptional. Work areas were cleaned daily. Frank was on the job every day overseeing the repointing work. I called them back a few weeks later to add waterproofing to the walls, I wanted to brighten the room and make it fell welcoming with that added protection against water. I couldn't be happier with the end results of overall project.
