We recently had a 38 year-old driveway that was cracking and needing to be replaced. We received four quoted to remove and replace it. Arise deserves the stars. I rarely give 5 stars because most places and businesses do not deserve them, Arise does. I had some sections of my front walkway and drive way that were sagging and separating. I assumed water got under it and washed out the sand base. I contacted them, left a message and Christopher, the owner called me back that evening. He told me it would be maybe 2 weeks before he could come and do an estimate (I live 20 miles S. of Wichita and he told me he does not get down my way often but had another estimate close to me scheduled and would stop by after that). I was fine with that. Just getting a contractor to call you back is a victory.

He came by and explained what caused the problem and told me where the water was getting under and how he would fix it. He gave me the price and I was more than pleased. In my head the number was going to be higher. On a hand shake he told me it would be a couple of weeks till he would be back and that rain during the day means no work, so it being spring, it could be a bit longer. Again, no problem.

Well, 2 weeks after he was here for his estimate he called and said that he would be there with his stuff the next afternoon. All good. It is he and his son that do the work. They drilled some holes, pumped in some foam, cut the joints wider, put in some foam backing and used some special caulking to seal it all up. Start to finish with 6 holes drilled, patched, and clean up was just at 2 hours.

They went above and beyond. I had a couple of minor opening in between some front brick steps they closed up, and after a recent june bug attack to my front door, they cleaned up that mess too.

It is not the kind of service you need to use more than once, but if you need want a small, responsive, knowledgable couple of guys to fix your concrete, give them a call. You will not be disappointed. I posted some before and after pics. below. Thanks for your time reading this.
