These guys are terrific! We had a complex concrete and culping deck disaster from our builder. The Aztec team came up with a creative and affordable solution. They executed on time, on budget and kept the job site very clean. Could not be more pleased. Highly recommend!!!!
Excellent customer service. The team was very attentive and helpful throughout the entire process. We scheduled an appointment with them to work on our backyard patio, and we have no complaints at all. Special thanks to Yael for assisting us with every question and concern we had. Highly recommended.
Made appointment to have someone come to redo our driveway. Had an appointment and Nobody showed up. They rescheduled for two days later. Again no one showed up. Was recommended by cris Cristy and I will let him and everyone lease know that they have the worst customer service. Do not use them. Thomas Hodgson
Great experience from beginning to end. Received a free estimate, talked with the project manager (Hugo), and was kept up to date with the scheduling of the project from office staff via phone and text. End product turned out just as we hoped (tabby coat finish around exterior of our home). Thanks!
Contracted with Aztec Masonry to demolish and replace existing concrete driveway, side walks, etc.in Nov.'20. We provided pictures of our desired driveway and received a estimate for the work which we accepted. After the concrete was poured and it seemed not to look like what we provided in the pictures Liz ( office personnel) acknowledged she didn't see the pictures of a rounded edge along the slab perimeter. Aztec performed saw cuts which are jagged, chipping and crumbling. Cuts are not consistent with concrete standards which is a depth of 1/4 concrete thickness, they are approx. 1/2 inch and less. There are also hunks of concrete falling off the sides in a number of areas; therefore, we question if the concrete mixture was correct. The driveway is not level , a "power trowel " would have helped to alleviate this. Water now puddles in front of the garage doors and other areas which is a fall hazard. The owner Pedro Velasco came once to our home, he really didn't want to hear anything I had to say, rudely placed his hand in my face as I was talking. He did acknowledge it was his and Liz (office staff) fault that the job was not completed as it was ordered. However, he said he could fix it, so we allowed his workers to come. They placed a "picture framing ",darker concrete around the slab in front of our garage, not what we originally ordered. We informed Mr. Velasco a number of times through office email of the inferior work and our dissatisfaction. He offered a re do. However, our experience with him and Aztec had been such that we failed to believe he was capable. If he did a sloppy job the first time. I'm not convinced it will be different a 2nd time. In addition to inferior work, Aztec left trenches, cable exposed, concrete rock and debris all over our lawn. We asked to see examples of his work, it took 10 days and 2 emails to be sent to his home. His driveway was not what we wanted. We've had a number of concrete professionals review the work and all have indicated it is substandard work. We sought a refund of our deposit because we will have to have the work demolished and redone but are not convinced Aztec would do any better if given a second chance . And, they are so unreliable not showing up many times when they were scheduled and then coming at their will without notice a day or so later. The pictures are just a small example of their poor quality of work.
