I just wanted to comment on the fast repsonse from Monica at Ben's. We ultimately didn't have them come out and quote becauase we had a few but they were fantastic with answering emails quickly and any questions I had. The Google reviews speak for themselves!

I had Ben and his crew do a rip up and repour both my old driveway as well as my neighbor's plus a small walkway and patio area.

This project was a couple of years in the making due to the city's by-laws changing but Ben was very patient and worked with us on making sure we got the right permits and also to ensure the driveway and sidewalk area was just how we wanted it.

After 1 year they even came back to do some additional work on the driveway with structural cuts in the slab to ensure as it shifts and moves it will not develop giant cracks like we had with our old driveway pad.

Also shout out to Monica in the office for her excellent communication skills and follow up.

Overall a great experience and we have had nothing but compliments on the driveway since it was redone.

Highly recommend this company for your concrete needs.

We recently got our driveway done through Ben's concrete and we are super happy we hired them for the job. We got quotes from several companies but it was very hard to pass on Ben.

They are very professional and do quality work. Front of the house looks amazing. We got so many compliments from our neighbours for our new driveway. We see people walking by our house slow down and looking all the time.

Ben answered all of our questions and cleared all of our concerns. Monica was very professional, polite and amazing at communicating. She either responded quickly to answer the questions she knew the answers to or she passed the questions to Ben to get the more technical answers.

They even went out of their way to help us with something we forgot to add to our contract. Ben was more than willing to accomodate.

Overall a great experience! would hire them for more work. ***** (5 Stars)

I can certainly say that Ben and his workers have been amazing from the start. I tried booking an appointment in August 2021. I was told they were not doing any quotes as they were fully booked. I saw all the reviews and noticed they talk amazing things about this company. In the spring of 2022 I got an email from Monica and she mentioned they had fit me in for this year. I met with Ben at the previously agreed day and on the same day I had received an estimate. We booked a date. Job started as he promised. They worked fast. Very nice job and clean. A few of my neighbours commented on how good of a job they did on the driveway as they had experience with concrete work. Ben was very communicative in terms of what I needed to do and also mentioned to me that there’s a chance for hairline cracks which I haven’t noticed. He made some recommendations on when the concrete should be poured to which I agreed as he is the expert and don’t want the job to get wrecked just for being impatient.

Thank you Ben for the beautiful driveway you and your team made for my house. I see everyday people looking at it and admiring it. I feel proud now that I don’t have the gravel path anymore.

I would recommend Ben and his company any day. They took all the stress from dealing with the city and calling hydro (call before you dig). Price was reasonable and we’ll worth it.

We researched for a year, prior to deciding to tear-up and re-do our driveway, garage floor & sidewalk. Working with concrete was not something new to us, as my husband did our sidewalks front and back, and my father has done concrete patios that are 4o years old, and still perfect. But we decided to have Ben's do this job, mostly because of the rating, and the job was large. When we met with Ben, we discussed his posted reviews length.

Imagine how completely devastated we are, with having the pictures shown below, now be the outcome!!

At no point was there any discussion, reference, caution or disclosure made that "concrete work does not always turn out perfect" or any mention "that it might crack". After all, we had only read his 5 star reviews, and expected a perfect job as the outcome.

We, and 4 other neighbours, all had concrete work done at the same time.
Now, ALL 5 jobs have cracks, and all of us are questioning that, given that EVERY job has cracks, and that NO ONE COMMENTED ABOUT CRACKS on his reviews, that something did not go right with the work that we had done!

Ben says, nothing can be done and that concrete cracks, but I don't buy it. Too many red flags here and too many common denominators.

At the very least Ben should have disclosed, when discussing "how good a job he was going to do", that sometimes it does not work out. He did not address this with any of us.

For anyone interested, I would proceed with caution.
