Outstanding Experience—Highly Recommend!We hired Crown Electric for a massive undertaking at our 100 year old home: completely removing the original knob and tube wiring, relocating the electrical panel, and upgrading our service to 200amp. From day one, the experience was absolutely top-notch.Donna in the main office is an absolute gem. She consistently went out of her way to coordinate with our schedule and keep the project running seamlessly. Jared, the owner, personally reviewed the entire scope of work and provided excellent, honest advice to make sure we were approaching the project the right way.The on-site crew, Josh and Adam, spent nearly three weeks meticulously working on our house, and we cannot praise them enough. Rewiring a historic home is a notoriously invasive process, but it was honestly like magic watching these guys work. They managed to run all the new wire and pull out the old with as minimal destruction to our walls and ceilings as possible. Beyond their technical skill, they took great care of our home. They were highly communicative, completely fair, and exceptionally mindful of the fact that we were still living in the house during the project.Having safe, modern electrical gives us such an incredible peace of mind. We are so grateful to the entire team at Crown Electric and would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.
Jared and Josh and Adam came and upgraded our home to 200amps and they did such an awesome job. They also removed a bunch of useless old low voltage wires that weren't doing anything but cluttering up the ceiling of my basement. The work was done with professionalism and expertise, but what made it even better was that they were all super cool and easy to be around which was great because they were in our house for a couple days. Now that the work has been completed, our home feels better- safer and with cleaner power flowing through it, which provides an invisible but very improved atmospheric quality. I highly recommend Crown for electrical work in the Asheville area, and I'll be calling them back real soon to come and install some lights and I'm already looking forward to the great job they'll do with that too. We are so glad we found Crown Electric! Matt and Adam were absolutely phenomenal to work with. They completed extensive electrical work as part of our renovation, and every aspect of their work was done with exceptional care, efficiency, and expertise. One of the more challenging parts of the project was installing two antique fans, and they very skillfully handled the install.They were always prompt, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain things and make sure everything was done right. It gave us a lot of confidence having them on the project.We are so happy with their work and will use them again for future projects.
Jared and his team did practically a full rewire for our house (updating knob and tube) and did an incredible job. They worked fast and did the job great even when we had additional requests mid-job.The team was also great to be around. Fun to talk to and didn’t mind having to work around us being home.Would highly recommend them to anyone whether that’s a small job or another full scale knob/tube rewire!
Jared at Crown Electric did a great job with a safety check for our electrical panel + installation of a Tesla car charger. Neighbors recommended him, and among the electricians I reached out to, he was the first to respond and the quickest to schedule with. He was super friendly and didn’t bat an eye with our hard to reach space. His estimate was fair and the job was done in less time at a lower cost than expected.
