Awesome experience with Rankin Electric! We highly recommend them. The office staff who answered my questions when I first called was very nice and helpful. I called her two more times and she was as pleasant. One of the things we needed was to replace our floodlights. We wanted to make sure we chose the correct lights, therefore I emailed pictures of our present set up. I received a super quick reply from Randy who in turn attached a picture of the type of lights we should get for our set up. We really appreciated the guidance.
The technician who came to our home was Brian. He was great, punctual, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He replaced our floodlights and also fixed our problem with the outside home lights not working and the hallway switches not working properly as well. We will definitely continue using Rankin Electric for your needs. I am so glad I chose them and will recommend them to our friends.

We were having some serging issues throughout the house. I called late last week to see if we could get someone out to address the problem. The woman I spoke with(unfortunately her name escapes me) was apologetic that no one could come out until Monday…. I was expecting a date much further in the future. Brian was at our door shortly after 7:30 a.m. listened to our issue, was out at the breaker box a few minutes and showed me the problem breakers. He too was apologetic about what the breakers would cost, made sure my wife and I understood the situation and was given the go ahead to do the repairs. The entire job took less than 2 hours start to finish( including a trip back to the shop for the breakers needed, circa 1960’s). Brian was very polite, informative and neat. The cost of the work was far less than either of us expected as well. I would highly recommend Rankin to anyone needing electrical work.

My main problem was a miswired switch, which Daniel G found and quickly repaired. He then hung a new ceiling fan in another room, again quickly and efficiently. Amazing company! Several switches stopped working in two areas. Josh at Rankin Electric was so prompt, professional, and hard working. Ten stars for Josh! He diagnosed the issue immediately and probably prevented our house from burning down. We also asked him to install a new GFCI switch and add a plug in another room so we could plug in an automatic safety light. Their work is always excellent , and their prices are amazingly reasonable. The entire staff is helpful, and the electricians have always done top quality work. We have had Rankin install new fans, re-do a ballist from fluorescent to LED, put in LED recessed lights, and (my favorite) install dimmers on so many switches so I have gentle lights at night. Again, great prices and great work. I have recommended them to so many people, and my friend just recommended them back to me when my switches went out. We all agree that no one else but Rankin has the level of quality and prompt service in Kern County. Thank you, thank you!
