Shane was awesome. Did an excellent job of trouble shooting what happened after I had an overload line melt / smoke. Proposed a complete solution while also addressing my separate breaker box concerns. He helped me to form a complete game plan for both issues and Recon will most certainly be who I look to for my upcoming major electrical work.

Always nice to find a go to company for each category and I now have electrical in the bag.

This is a top notch company. From the first call with Stephanie, to Russell coming out to give an estimate, to Luke and Brandon performing the work. They were all very professional, kind, considerate, and knowledgeable.
When Russell got there to do the estimate, I told him we kept having breakers tripping so he started there. He found a fire hazard with our panel and explained what we were looking at. He took pictures/videos (explaining everything he was seeing and what was needing to be done) of the panel, plus everything else we were wanting/needing done. This was so that they could document everything for the electricians coming out to work on it (if we chose to go with them). He sent me the picture of the panel opened to show the problem. I had a friend of ours that is an electrician, take a look to verify this info. He said that Russell was indeed correct and our panel needed to be replaced asap due to fire hazard. I only asked him his professional opinion because I had one of the big name Electrician Service Companies come out to give us a quote, before calling Recon, and they never even mentioned there was a problem with the panel even though I had told them about us having problems with the breakers tripping a bunch. It took 2 weeks to get the original quote (which I had to call and ask where it was) and then when I got it, it was inaccurate so I asked for it to be updated with an accurate quote of work requested and still haven’t received it after 4 weeks. We had a whole different experience with them. This is why we ended up calling Recon to get an estimate from them.
We decided to have Recon go ahead with the work. Stephanie worked very hard to get us in quickly with their schedule being full, working with Cuivre River to get a shutoff/turn on appt. and the inspector appt. all being done on short notice plus working with our work, Dr. appt., etc. schedule. She was absolutely amazing. Luke was here the next day getting everything prepped, and Russell showed up the next morning to go over everything with Luke and Brandon to make sure everyone was on the same page. These young men worked hard and were extremely efficient. They were able to do work on several areas of the house without tearing anything up. It doesn’t even look like they did anything to these areas. They did such a great job!(The other company said they would have to tear up my finished attic floor or into my drywall inside the rooms in order to complete the work.)
Now our home has a new & safe electric panel, and all of the additions we wanted/needed are completed. This was all done in 4 days time, from the day I called to work completion.
