It was done efficiently and in a timely manner, did the whole job with a 16 foot ladder. Chesapeake Electric responded quickly to our request to come out and assess some electrical issues we were having in our home. During the assessment, Ethan discovered two of our outlets had seriously malfunctioned which could have caused an eventual house fire. By changing those outlets immediately, he helped to avoid a potential disaster. We were very pleased with all the work performed by Chesapeake Electrical. William, Stephen, Dantè, and Alex were able to replace all of the outlets and switches, install surge protectors, install a Tesla wall charger, and more. They were very friendly and professional and provided detailed explanations for everything they were doing. We are very thankful for all of the work they did.

I recently had Chesapeake Electric out for a few projects at my home and couldn’t be more impressed with the experience from start to finish.
The main job was removing and installing two ceiling fans — including one in my family room with 30-foot vaulted ceilings. That’s not a simple swap; it requires the right equipment, experience, and frankly some nerve. The crew handled it like pros — no drama, clean execution, and the result looks and works perfectly.
I also had them handle the lighting and power setup for my golf simulator room, which had its own set of requirements for proper placement and dedicated power. They knocked it out exactly the way I needed it. The room is fully dialed in now.
Big shoutout to Joshawn Mays — professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely easy to work with. Him and his partner (apologies, I forgot to grab the name) made a great team. They were respectful of the space, communicated well throughout, and didn’t cut corners.
If you’re looking for a reliable electrical company in the area that sends skilled guys who take pride in their work, Chesapeake Electric is the call. I’ll be using them again without hesitation.

Awesome experience! Zach and David were punctual, respectful, knowledgable, clean and showed me each piece that was replaced (10 individual outlets/ switches) before moving on to the next one. Which definitely put my stress at ease. The entire process was smooth, price was fair, and service was phenomenal. Should I need help in the future I will 100% be using them again.
