I contacted Suncoast because my home insurance required a junction box to be installed in the attic. I expected a straightforward service at a fair price, but what I experienced was the complete opposite. The job itself was extremely simple — something anyone with even basic electrical knowledge could do. It took their technician less than five minutes to complete, with no complications, no special tools, and no extra effort involved. Despite the minimal work, Suncoast charged me an outrageous $317 for a single junction box. That price is beyond unreasonable and feels like nothing short of a scam. It’s clear they took advantage of the fact that this was an insurance requirement, knowing I had little choice but to get the job done. Instead of providing honest service, they exploited the situation to overcharge for a tiny, routine task. What makes this worse is the lack of transparency. There was no breakdown of costs, no explanation for why such a simple job carried such a steep price tag, and no effort to justify the charge. It was simply a quick install followed by a shocking bill. This kind of predatory pricing shows zero respect for customers and raises serious questions about their business practices. I would never recommend Suncoast to anyone who values fairness, honesty, or integrity. If you’re looking for an electrician, save yourself the frustration and find a reputable company that provides clear estimates, reasonable pricing, and genuine customer care. Suncoast is the exact opposite — overpriced, opportunistic, and untrustworthy.

My wife and I hired Suncoast Electric to wire-up/install 6 ceiling lights; 4 kitchen and one in each bathroom. Joshua was our electrician. He was experienced, polite, and genuinely a nice guy. The price point was reasonable. He informed me exactly what work was going to be performed and broke down the costs associated. I am happy with the work performed by Joshua and I would definately recommend Suncoast to others.
