Super impressed with Josh's professional installation from Bear Copper Electric.I originally contacted 3 local electricians from the SMUD contractor network. One never replied. One sent an email and never replied. One was responsive on txt messages but never really committed to come give an estimate.Out of a bit of frustration I contacted Bear Copper and Josh was immediately responsive, helpful, and very clear on rough estimate and timeline.Josh called at the end of the original appointment time and apologized his crew was running behind and he scheduled a time later in the day to personally take care of our install. He was prompt, professional, and did a fantastic job with the install (he wound up having to move some of our breakers and even relabelled them for us).We are super happy with our new EV level 2 charger install. Their quote process was incredibly convenient; as part of a text message exchange I sent a photo of my circuit breakers, and they provided an estimate quickly.Edgar, the electrician, was excellent. He did quality work that took very little time, and he clearly explained my options and offered helpful recommendations during his visit. I also appreciated their straightforward online estimate and payment system. I had a 40 amp circuit breaker installed that included making room in a full panel. Edgar also installed a circuit breaker in the panel.Bear Cooper Electric delivered efficient and professional service, and I'd recommend them.

We have had Bear Copper Electric do several jobs previously and they have done excellent work. Most recently they installed under cabinet lighting in our kitchen. The lights are the latest technology,we can set the warmth of the lights as well as the brightness. They also installed a dimmer switch to add to our options.They are knowledgeable, prompt, clean and respond quickly to texts. We recommend them very highly!
