Listen! I was looking for a company to provide an estimate to replace an incredibly dated and dangerous Federal Pacific Panel at a house we were looking to rent. Convincing your possible future landlord that you need them to replace a panel is no easy feat and it is also no small cost, but it was the house we needed! I mentioned my situation to DCG and they immediately offered to call the landlord directly and they also sent me plenty of resources I could send the landlord. Not only did they send me the estimate quickly, they would regularly check in via text to see if we had been able to convince the landlord. I am convinced their info and persuasion got us a modern panel in the house we so badly wanted. It really felt like they went above and beyond to help us be safe and taken care of, even if we didn't use them. I had meant to review them a month ago but things got busy and even after that they texted me to ask if we needed any more help. To be clear, the landlord used another company to replace the panel, but DCG still checked in with us and have been incredibly courteous and kind to us! I highly recommend their customer service.
I would give them negative stars. I am an engineer and have been working in construction since 2007 (almost 18 years. I have a bachelors and a masters degree). I have worked with the best and now officially the worst. This company is actually the worst I have ever worked with. They yelled at me and threatened me and tried to steal money. They made us pay for work that was not performed. If you would like timelines or receipts, I am more than happy to hand over anything.When you work in construction or engineering you vow to a code of ethics. They clearly missed that chapter.Update in response to the below: They said they completed the original scope of work and that is 100% false. There are still 3-way switches that need repair and they did not install the GFCIs. And still made us pay in full. Again, I have full documentation. I never asked for a reverse on that payment. That was $6500 and we never asked for a dime back. We paid in full.They had no proof of performing the second scope of work and I asked many times for any documentation they could provide. I received nothing and saw zero work being performed after paying a deposit. I stopped any work for the second scope on my property because both of the owners called us and screamed at us after making us pay in full for work not preformed.This was the absolute worst experience and I literally feared for my safety after being screamed at by a much larger man. They were no longer permitted on the property after screaming at us. I truly thought I was going to be assaulted. Again. I have all documentation.They would not answer my calls. So the below comment asking for me to call them is almost funny.This wasn’t an emotional review. This was purely based off of facts, incomplete work, and how they treated me and my family, which was absolutely awful.

The team was not only professional, but also extremely well-organized, punctual, and attentive to every detail. We left a review and DCG answered it. Let me make sure you read between the lines.1. They never refund the money for a job they never did. The bank had to put a lean on their account. It is very difficult to get a refund and we provided a lot of information to the bank to prove that work was never started.2. They didn’t do a beautiful job. They broke the wall and never repaired and at the exterior they barely cover the removal of the panel. They said it was not part of their scope of work to repair what they damaged. That is completely fine, but please communicate that information with before (See attached)4. They left all of their trash, screws all over the garage where I park my car. Filled both of our trash cans and left trash in the yard.3. They harassed us over the phone and screamed at us. As a woman I do not feel safe when a man who knows how to enter my home screams at me!4. Inspections passed. Yes. But the master electrician who they worked under never inspected the job.This review is not an angry review is a caution to others. I don’t which anyone to feel unsafe in their home.
