I called Flat River Electric and talked with Heather regarding six existing light fixtures to which I was experiencing problems. Heather did a great job listening and understanding my issues. Electricians Caleb and Connor were dispatched. Both electricians were polite and respectful of my home. They explained why the six existing fixtures were not working. They proposed solutions and costs for me to decide on how to proceed. Once the work was authorized Flat River Electric proceeded timely in completing the electrical work , removing all necessary debris, leaving the work areas clean . The scope of work required two different trips of which Heather and Caleb both communicated with me updates. I recommend anyone requiring electrical work to call Flat River Electric. I have used Flat River Electric several times thru the years and have always been very happy with their work. This last time was no different. DeWayne and Billy arrived on time to put in a separate light switch in my laundry room (it was connected to the hall lights so if I turned them on, all the lights would come on). I also needed a security light installed and the main reason I called was to replace the light fixture at the bottom of the stairwell. The one that was there was recessed in the ceiling panels and gave out very little light. Sometimes I couldn't even tell if it was on. I was (still) doing work in the stairwell and had not yet replaced the ceiling tiles. They removed the old fixture and put in the new light, leaving me enough room to slide the tiles in when I was ready and all I would have to do is tighten the screws. I LOVE the new light! I can actually see down the steps and it looks great! Everything I needed done was finished quickly and works perfect. Another great experience with Flat River Electric! I have more electrical work coming up and I absolutely will be calling them to do it.
Billy shows up with Dwayne at almost exactly the time they predicted, not the tail end of it, but the very start. It only got better from there. I initially called because I had a blown fuse and my garage door wouldn't open. By the time they were done, my garage was fixed, three of my previously dead outlets were fixed, my new thermostat was installed, and I now have a new electrician.I've had vendors come to my house and do stuff before, but Billy and Dwayne were remarkable. Not only were they attentive and polite and looked for everything that they could do to help, but they cleaned up after themselves and charged me so little money, I assumed they had forgotten how much work they did.I used all of the powers of AI (Google Gemini) to find the right electrician, and it did not fail me. As the younger generations are fond of saying:10 out of 10, would definitely recommend.As in, I have other things I want done this spring and I guarantee you I will be calling Flat River Electric to come out and do it.I cannot recommend them strongly enough.I am way past satisfied. I am overjoyed.Did I mention they did all that ON NEW YEAR'S EVE!?
We’ve had an excellent experience working with Flat River Electric for both our business and our home, for several years. Their work has included our wine cellar, lighting fixtures, outlets, and several other electrical projects—honestly, more than I can probably list because everything is always handled so seamlessly and professionally.Mike has built an outstanding team. Billy and Dwayne were onsite most recently and were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, great communicators, and they did really solid work. Great experience with Flat River. Anita got me scheduled quickly and even though there were supposed to be two people on the job it was still done very well in just a few hours. Pricing was higher than the other quotes I got but service quality and the peace of mind from their warranty is worth it. Highly recommend!
