I called and Kevin answered the phone. I had received a quote from Action Plumbing which seemed ridiculous. I told Kevin that I'd be willing to pay him for his time to come out and quote for the supposed issues I had with my electrical meter. He told me to just send him a few pictures, which I did, and then he told me he didn't see anything wrong. Obviously, having an electrician on site is preferred to determine damages, but he was able to tell that some predatory practices were going on here based on not seeing obvious damages in the pictures. I asked him how much money he would charge to replace the electrical meter if there were an issue and it was literally under half of what I was being quoted. These guys seem to be honest and I will be taking my business to them for future house needs going forward.
I got referred to Kendal and his Dad by my wife's coworker. We had a few things we needed done. We needed a new 240V line ran for our hot tub (the existing line didn't look trustworthy and it didn't meet current code). We also found out from on another electrician that we needed a new main power panel. Also, our external outlets weren't working. Kendal gave us the best quote we got, plus gave us a 5% cash discount.We had to wait a few days. But they were worth it.Kendall's Dad brought two guys this morning. And they got all the work done in about 3 hours. And they even put up with me hanging around watching and asking questions.Great company! Great Family!
Schouten Electric is a great company to work with! We had them do all of the electrical for our 42,000 sqft building and 5.5 acre parking lot, and everything they did is so professional! We couldn't be happier! Kendall was great to make recommendations and proposals to make the building much more functional, rather than just following the generic plan. As the owner, I felt like their goal wasn't just to get a job done and get paid, but rather to give me an electrical system that would be functional and meet my business needs for many years of growth and expansion. Working with Kendall and Kevin was a true pleasure. They are both very professional yet fun and definitely know what they're doing. They replaced the outside service panel and replaced an internal panel as well. They worked quickly and efficiently and everything looks fantastic! They went above and beyond and were very easy going! Fantastic pricing, fantastic service! I'd highly recommend them to anyone and everyone!
