Con Artists, fraudsters or grossly incompetent!I called National Electric since power was out on roughly half of my outlets, my furnace & well water! National Electric tested the breaker box and tested the metering panel. They claimed that my breaker box needed replacement and quoted me $4,500.Over the weekend, a friend of mine who works in construction came by for a second opinion. He found absolutely nothing wrong w/ my breaker box and noticed that my meter was not receiving power on one of its 2 legs. I called utility company (Consumers Energy) and the technician saw the issue from 15 feet away ‘That wire is fried’. He fixed my wire withing 20 minutes for free & told me that I owe my buddy a beer (do I ever!). Everything is working again!I literally watched Lansing Electric test the meter box as he was pressuring me into financing (vs. my request for 2nd quote). Either he doesn’t know how to read a voltmeter, or he tried to fraud me into replacing a perfectly good Breaker Box. Either way, I will never allow these people in my house again & I suggest that you shouldn’t either.
