I suspected the main breaker was bad but decided based off actual training I'd just have a professional deal with it (I only know how to use some electrical tools from vehicle repairs). I was worried living in an older home we'd get BSed into being told we needed a bunch of electrical repairs like claiming something wasn't "up to code" or whatever so I was on guard. They showed up when my wife was home. Confirmed it was just the main breaker, replaced it, and verified the issue was resolved. No trying to oversell anything. We will call them again and have already referred them to people.

We had an amazing experience with our technician Troy who came to change out and install a new circuit breaker box and switches. He was professional, on time, fast, and very efficient. (Sharing the before pictures showing how we had only about 20 switches to the after, and brand new bigger box with 30 switches.) Troy totally rewired everything and cleaned up the mess we previously had and the cost was reasonable.
