Review for EV Charger Installation by James Porter We recently hired James Porter, Master Electrician and owner of Nicholson Electrical Services, to install both Level 1 and Level 2 EV charger outlets at our home — and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. We had stringent requirements for EV charger equipment and installation, and James exceeded expectations. He was extremely well-versed in EV charger standards and was able to navigate and work within our condo's specific electrical and installation guidelines with ease. His knowledge and adaptability were key to getting the project approved and completed smoothly. James took the time to go over the project in detail, carefully assessed our setup, and provided a clear and accurate estimate. His professionalism and thoroughness gave us confidence right away. Booking the installation was easy and timely, and he arrived exactly when scheduled. The quality of the installation was top-notch. James worked efficiently and with great attention to detail, ensuring everything was installed safely and neatly. He left the workspace clean and organized after the job was done and provided us with an ESA certificate for the completed work — a great added touch for peace of mind. We highly recommend James Porter and Nicholson Electrical Services for anyone looking for reliable, high-quality EV charger installation or any other electrical work. A true professional you can trust.

James and the Nicholson Electric team were fantastic. He came to quote my kitchen range installation project in a short period of time, the work was scheduled for the very next week. The electrician and apprentice that came were knowledgeable and professional and had everything done according to the plan within a single day. I really appreciate the quick response time and scheduling. High quality work, would defintely recommend hiring them.

I had the good fortune of being referred to Nicholson Electric. I found James was very accommodating, helpful and honest. His electricians were extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The work was completed in a timely manner. No complaints from me. Highly recommend Nicholson Electric Services.

We have dealt with Nicholson Electric for several years at 2 different houses. James and his team are always quick to respond to any request I have for service or questions I have had along the way. The work is always done professionally and quickly and the team cleans up after themselves. Service and work is top notch. Estimates have always matched work completed, with exception of the additions of any work I have added in during the process, however those costs were discussed in advance. I would and have recommended Nicholson to friends and family and will use them again!
