BEWARE BEWARE!!!Had these guys out to repair two under counter lights with ballasts that were failing. The electricians left saying they would send me a quote .Later the same day, we received a quote back for almost $800 to replace and install two 33 inch LED under counter lights as they indicated parts were not being made anymore. This is highway robbery for install of two under counter lights that run about $40 each at Home Depot. I responded back with an email telling them that the fee seemed a bit ridiculous and that there was no itemization of anything. Furthermore, they threw in the emailed quote that I received that included with their price was a service call fee of $150 + taxes (which was not disclosed prior to the service) and would be invoiced if we chose not to go with their high quote. Their only response back was to send me an invoice for the service call, with NO response back on itemizing their high quote.
I was very pleased with the repairs performed by Joe Hack of Tudor Electrical Service. Joe was able to arrive earlier than the scheduled time which i really appreciated. He was diligent in diagnosing and repairing an elusive wiring problem. Joe was very courteous and professional. Also, my initial telephone contact with Tudor was with Abby. She asked intelligent questions about the issue and scheduled the appointment. I was very with impressed with both Abby and Joe.I feel that the cost of the repair is very reasonable, and I would call Tudor Electrical again.
Our Technician Joe arrived right on time. We had 3 ceiling fans and a Beyond Bright LED installed in our garage. He went right to work, did. beautiful job and did not dilly-dally (important as it's an hourly rate). We were referred to Tutor by our new-home electrical firm. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Tutor Electric installed a disconnect on a new hot water tank. The technician was on time friendly and professional. The job was complete within an hour. Then our technician and his assistant cleaned up all the scraps and leftover bits and pieces. When the invoice arrived it confirmed that our bill was HALF our other estimates. I am very pleased with Tutor. They are now my go to electrician! Thank you for the quality work.
Technician was on time (30 minutes early actually) and very professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it, and even took the time to make sure other issues were resolved as well. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the billing. The first 30 minutes is a flat rate of $95 for the service call, which is pretty much standard. But even though the work only took 30 minutes, he was on site a little longer and so I was charged for an additional half hour (at an hourly rate of $95).With trade skills like these you definitely get what you pay for, so even though it felt a little pricey for a quick house call, I'd recommend them because the job was done well and quickly.
