I was referred to Jay at Hat Electric after a lightning strike at my home. Although it was after hours Jay arranged for one of his workers to come out right away. I could not have asked for a more positive experience given the circumstances. Scott was excellent to deal with and certainly went above and beyond. He did a very thorough job of checking all the electrical issues, restored the power and made sure that I was comfortable with what he had done, explaining in detail as he went along. He was polite, kind, respectful and very professional. Ethan then attended a few days later to complete the remaining work. Again, great work and also very professional. I could not have asked for a more efficient and professional group of people and would highly recommend Jay and his team.
What an amazing company! I was having trouble with my stove. I phoned them in the morning and they came pretty quickly (and it was Christmas Eve). They wanted to make sure that I could cook my Christmas dinner! Hat electric know what excellent customer service is. I would highly recommend them!
Jay of Hat’s Electric has completed awesome work for me at an economical price for my new basement direct entry and Summer (basement) kitchen. He submit the requests for permits and the work was passed by the city inspectors. Jay’s quote was thousands less than his competitors since he stocks parts efficiently too. My Summer kitchen has functioned for a year now and each plug looks fabulous.Recently, a power tool tripped my outside breaker so I sent Jay an email and he sent his staff Scott the next morning. Scott was able to troubleshoot the issue in under 30 minutes. Thank you Scott! Turns out these new breakers are reset on a separate device which I did not know but Scott efficiently explained it to me and I wrote notes with images to explain to my Handyman worker too since it is not as visually obvious which breaker has tripped with these new devices. Also, the accordion style outside plugs look nice on a residential home and protect wires in wet weather also explained to me by Scott. Good work and business communication is essential and both Scott and Jay do an awesome job. Keep up the good work my local professionals! I appreciate it. Wendy
