Lost power to my well room. Sent out the distress signal and Shain was quick to answer. Once we spoke, he was out to my property within the hour. Before coming out, he spoke of potential pricing, which made me feel comfortable. He got to property and talked me through all the things that could be. Very easy to understand and follow. He diagnosed the issue, fixed the problem and sent me a very reasonable invoice. Bowman electric is my go to for anything electric. Thanks again Shane.
Excellent service! They were very friendly and quick with tasks. Added an outlet to a networking cabinet and drilled some holes for me to do some self networking for my house. They also replaced my outdoor carport light that got shorted out.
They arrived exactly when they said they would, even gave me a quick text when they were almost here. During the visit they were respectful to my house and came to a quick resolution. If I have any electrical issues in the future, they will be my first choice.
Shain ruined our house so extensively I don't even know where to start. We had him wire a new build home for us, so there is only one person who can be responsible for all of the many issues we are having. First, we had to reopen walls and roofing in areas that were supposedly wired but later caused problems after the drywall and roof were finished. We are having several breakers tripping repeatedly--when nothing is even plugged in, and on lines not associated with appliances. We are also having multiple GFCI breakers tripping repeatedly, again even when nothing is plugged in. Our dishwasher and garbage disposal were wired in such a way that anytime we hit the disposal button it trips the dishwasher. Our fire alarms were wired incorrectly somewhere along the way and go off randomly in the middle of the night (which is why I'm writing this at 5:00 AM). I could go through a long list of all the things Shain did wrong, but I'll leave it at that: these are the issues we're dealing with in a brand new home after working with this guy.We paid him over $30K and our house is totally messed up. We actually parted ways before he fully finished the job--it was technically "finished," but we were still having ongoing issues, which were under his warranty. He waived the last approx. $1,200 in agreement to part ways, but that's pennies compared to what we had already paid him. Now we're having to pay other electricians thousands of dollars to try to fix what he screwed up. On top of that, he got to the point where he was so frustrated he was regularly yelling at us on the job site. A big reason we ask ed to part ways was because we felt unsafe continuing to have him in our home. The other part was that we let him troubleshoot for about six months, and the issues were never resolved.I tried to hold out on writing a review, because I do understand how crushing bad reviews can be for small businesses. But after being jolted awake yet again in the middle of the night by a badly wired fire alarm, I just couldn't keep quiet anymore. Maybe he is fine for fixing small issues, but I would NEVER recommend him for a big project.
We hired Bowman Electric to install a crystal chandelier for our wedding at our favorite restaurant, and he did an absolutely flawless job. The chandelier was heavy, uniquely shaped, and required a dimmer setup—he handled it all with total professionalism. He carefully removed the restaurant’s original fixture, installed ours perfectly, and after the event, returned to uninstall it and reinstall the original like nothing had ever been touched. He was reliable, communicative, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was just right for our special day. We couldn’t be happier with his work and would absolutely hire him again.
