We have been with Netco since 2006 when we did a huge reno on a 100 + yr old home. They are professional, reliable, friendly and helpful. Maybe most importantly, they are honest. If they don't feel a certain idea or project is the best way to go, they will tell you and in our case, saved us money.I highly recommend Netco for any electrical needs.
I reached out to netco regarding having an emergency light installed, I was quoted at $96.00 a hour, and was assured it wouldn’t take longer than a hour to have it installed. The technician arrived and assured me that it would be a quick and easy job as I had already purchased the emergency light on my own, and just needed it attached to my breaker. He quickly installed the light and we briefly spoke regarding the work he did and if I could get quoted for another job that needed done. This was in August, and only now just received the invoice that is $250. I was confused as to why we were charged for supplies that no one mentioned about, and a extra hour. I was very confused regarding the total so I decided to call and try to get a better understanding as to why it was so much. When I called the receptionist, she was extremely rude and condescending, immediately talking over me and interrupting me. I decided I might be able to talk to someone else who could perhaps explain the invoice to me, only for another individual to call my husband 10 minutes later with the same if not worse attitude. He began the phone call by immediately talking over my husband and insinuating that we weren’t going to pay our bill. According to them, they were here for 2 hours to install a emergency light that is 5 feet away from my breaker. Also our quick conversation regarding having more work done with our electrical (that was at most 5 minutes long) they are saying it was actually 45 minutes long.I am very unimpressed with their lack of professionalism and would definitely not recommend them if this is how they treat their customers.
To be honest this is my first time leaving a review on anything but I was so pleased with the service I felt the need to let others know. I am renovating. I have had Netco come to do some work on two different occasions this month and we’re just getting started. (New outlet, light fixtures and baseboard heaters) Once I got set up they scheduled the work for 2-3 days later. They answered the phone with “Hello (my name)”. They always replied to my texts even if it was at 7:00p.m. They were able to work around the current renovations no matter how chaotic. They are very friendly and we’re great with my dogs. They do good quality work and I really trust their opinion. I come from a family of tradesmen so I’m hard to impress but I gotta say, I’m impressed. 5 starts, if I could give more I would. STRONGLY STRONGLY RECOMMEND.
Have hired them 3 times now and each time they have delivered quality service and advice. Tyler J the electrician they sent me on the last job was friendly and jovial and despite some of the difficulties during this garage job (D'oh!) he remained professional and upbeat. Thanks Tyler.
We had them come out to install 2 smart switches. I gave my address and was given a quote. The man came out, replaced the two switches. He wasn't very friendly but installed them and left. He was there a total of a little over half an hour. They charged me for an hour and a half and when I called them they told me by Bill was over due. I asked them why the bill was so high. They told me after I paid it the manager would call me back. After I paid the bill I left several voicemails and never had one been returned. Over $200 for a $50 job.
