Can’t say enough good things about Andrew and Lit Electrical. Not by choice, we had to do an emergency replacement of our main service panel and with the circumstances as they were, it was a hasty decision that we were second-guessing for about 36 hours! But Andrew talked us through and allayed all our concerns.

Being extremely cold out, Andrew graciously rearranged his schedule to get us up and running as soon as humanly possible. His prices were fair and he did the work in a timely manner and on budget according to his very detailed and transparent quote that he provided upfront.

Andrew did rewiring and aluminum remediation in preparation for an EAS inspection. Andrew had to trouble shoot a wire broken by ongoing construction in an other area which was presenting problems in my home. Not a problem for Andrew, great job!! If the picture of the outdoor outlet uploaded, you can see how important getting all the aluminum properly dealt with in your home as one wire was burnt, potentially could have started a fire.

Andrew upgraded our panel from 100 to 200 amps this spring. He presented us a fair quote and walked us through the process with Hydro One. He informed us about some choices for the type of panel installation and only included what made sense for our present and future needs. He performed some prep work on the exterior of the home about a week before the installation date. On the actual installation date most of the work was on the exterior and involved some coordination with Hydro One workers as well. He brought along an experienced worker to assist with the job that day was able to get all the work done within the estimated 8 hours despite hot weather, plenty of bugs and smoky air blowing in from distance wild fires.

For a professional and thorough electrical job, I would recommend no one else. Andrew is fair and friendly and will get your electrical job done right.

Before and after photos are below. Note on the exterior photos the entry point into the home had to be moved to the other end of the house to conform to the current electric safety code (previously wire too close to window). Andrew will not skimp when it comes to safety.

Andrew has been working for us for many years on a few different projects. He is extremely personable, and organized. His job knowledge is extremely high and he has a very thorough background in his trade. I hired him as I knew the job would be done right, professionally, and to the correct specs for code. His jobs are well regarded by the inspector and pass every time that I've experienced. We just had him upgrade our panel to 200 amp and very pleased with the work. More recently he wired our garage, and installed a 240V garage heater which I'm really excited about using. I would recommend his services, and will continue to use him.
