I have hired GE Electrical for several jobs in my home. The owner is responsive, which is half the battle. Each job was completed in a timely manner with and professionalism. The crew is knowledgable and the finished product always exceeds my expectations and requests. They also are mindful to leave the workspace broom swept and tidy. I always feel comfortable with their crew in my home. Whenever I am asked for an electrical recommendation, I never hesitate to mention GE Electrical as my number 1 choice.
I’m leaving this review due to concerns about overcharging, lack of transparency, and follow-up communication.An electrician was sent to my property while I was briefly away. Service was requested on January 6, 2026. I informed the company that I’d arrive shortly, and my tenant let the technician in so the issue could be identified. By the time I arrived, the technician had already left and collected $160 in cash from my tenant.After inspecting the work, the service performed (a quick outlet swap) did not appear to justify the price charged, especially given how fast the job was completed and without any walkthrough or explanation. I was also told a receipt/invoice would be sent several times to my email but despite multiple follow-ups over several days, no invoice was ever provided.Between the cost vs. work performed, the lack of documentation, and being told one thing over the phone without follow-through, I felt the experience lacked transparency. I’d advise others to clarify pricing, scope of work, and payment terms very clearly before proceeding.Update: After this review was posted, an invoice was emailed several days later. However, the invoice does not reflect that the $160 was already paid in cash at the time of service and instead shows a balance due. This clarification is added for accuracy and transparency. For clarity No price or quote was discussed or agreed to during the initial phone call. I described the issue in plain terms (a non-working GFCI outlet above a basement sink) and scheduled a service visit only.The on-site technician later quoted $165. My tenant had $160 in cash, which the technician accepted and waived the remaining $5. An invoice sent days later did not reflect that cash payment.This clarification is added solely for accuracy.
Had some outdoor outlets that needed to be replaced and didn't discover the issue until I was hanging up my Christmas lights. GE came out the very next day and began repairs. Service was super quick and efficient. I will keep their business card close by in case I need electrical work done in the future!
The best!! I have had the pleasure of using Edmund and his company on multiple occasions and every time they exceeded my expectations. They have upgraded my electrical system in the past providing outstanding service, workmanship and quality at the best prices. They also put in a half bath for me. I highly recommend them. My Son has used him at his home and was thrilled at what an amazing job they did!!! I had an emergency last night when my husband accidentally cut a wire on a Friday night and I contacted Edmund right away. He responded immediately and came quickly fixing everything at the most reasonable price. I’m so thankful!!
Edmond and 2 of his skilled electricians were at my house, the outside 110 amp wire coming down the side of my house had no coating left on the feed line and the meter box and the feed entering to my fuse box was 68 years old, Everything was replaced new with 210 amp service. This is the most Honest Company you will ever need for anything Electrical. Great service ??
