Jason and his partner his name starts with an E I can’t remember how to pronounce. It did a stellar job meticulously troubleshooting the problem, and found out that the junction box was the main problem in the attic. I would recommend these two guys to all my friends and anybody that would ask, and I will definitely utilize your services in the future. Thank them for a job well done.
Joan was very polite and courteous. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up after himself. He was very attentive of special needs.
During contracted installation of new siding an unfortunate event occurred in which a nail penetrated the main line into our home causing a down stream impact to the system and no power to the entire house. The unfortunate piece is that it wasn’t realized until my arrival home from work, Friday evening with my two younger daughters. After review and research, Thomas Edison Electric was selected and I can’t be more impressed by the professionalism and dedication to the work from that first phone call to finish of the job. Jacob and Francis from the office side got everything squared away and able any questions I had. Steve arrived first closer to the start of the job window than later and was quick and thorough to identify the issue and determine most appropriate resolution. Given it was winter and needing a whole new system and line through I didn’t want to risk the house continuing to get colder with each passing hour. Thomas Edison and Steve agreed to get started that Saturday for what was going to be another 12-16 hours of work. They dispatched assistance and Kyle arrived to carry the torch through the the evening into the next day to get the job completed and full system restored before Sunday afternoon. Even with being through an all nighter, Kyle was patient to test the whole home and walk me through the work performed along with additional recommendations in the future when the time comes. I couldn’t be more thankful to all involved at Thomas Edison to help take a difficult situation and essentially make it seem as routine and normal as any other job. I cannot recommend their services enough.
First of all, everything we worked with was nice and polite, BUT, they charged us a $50 dispatch fee, totally normal, no big deal. When they came out, they tried to charge a $400 diagnostic fee. Mind you, this was not mentioned when I was making and confirming my appointment, and I did describe the issue we were having (outlets not working in the garage). Why would anyone have someone dispatched to their house but wouldn't have them diagnose the issue? I felt like it was predatory at best, and I also don't want this to happen to someone in a more desperate situation than I am in - I definitely had the luxury of saying "no, thank you."
Jacob did a great job at helping us out with our electrical problem and fixed the issue quickly. He was respectful and knowledgeable. He explained everything thoroughly and was upfront about pricing. He even gave us recommendations for improvements we can make to our electrical unit. I would 100% recommend Jacob for any electrical needs! Overall great experience!
