Had Mr. Electric change out 2 electrical panels, 2 smoke detectors, 2 electrical sockets and 2 light switches. They added an additional socket for our tankless water heater. They also did a check in each room of the circuitry. They also installed our Ring doorbell. Jon and Hunter were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They explained everything completely and were very fast. They cleaned up completely upon finishing all the jobs. We have used Mr. Electric before and will continue to use them if we need any electrical work in the future. Thank you Jon, Hunter and Mr. Electric.
The tech was on site for about an hour to replace 5 smoke detectors. They charged us $910.00. Mr. Electric made our "Do Not Use Again" list of contractors due to unreasonable pricing.10/10/2025 update: Mr. Electric honored our request for a 50% refund after an escalation of the pricing issue. We were ultimately charged $455 for the installation. It's our hope the feedback we provided will create real change in the company's pricing policy.
I came home from a trip and discovered some lights not working and breaker tripping. They came out the next day and the technician was on time and very honest about all the issues he found and what they recommend. He was not pushy and up front of what needed to do to be up to code, since there was some new things since house was built. He also did a full house inspection to make sure nothing else was affected. He even went out of his way to help put up some lights for me while he was there since that was part of the problem. This was my first time using them, recommended from a neighbor. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use them. Thank you Mr. Electric!
