I had them come out three times in 2020 for various things. I had never taken the time to leave a review, so I feel I should. My complaint is about the one particular tech they sent out, who did nothing but complain, left a message, and scratched my car and tried to blame someone else.An older tall man came in April and all he did was complain. He had to put up a new fan and complained that it was on a vaulted ceiling, he needed a ladder. He went back and forth complaining here and there things he needed to do. I'm sorry he had to do his job...? He left and left our dryer outlet disconnected when I needed to do laundry 4 days later, and he came back, complained that all I had to do was put it back on when it was completely disconnected, not just the plate off with screws, then proceeded to complain that he came back and that he came for that visit for free.He came back in May to finish things on the list of things we needed done, outside putting up lights by the garage door. There was another young guy there working on fixing our garage door moulding who happened to come same day, I had pulled my car out of the garage and parked it about 10-15 ft. away from the car. I peeked outside to see how they were doing and noticed a scratch on my back bumper that was not there when I washed it a few days ago. I quietly turned and went inside to watch my cameras, and during one of the 30 trips this man made back and forth to the truck for random tools wasting time working as slowly as possible, I saw him and only him swing what looked like a long screwdriver and it grazed the back of my car. He scratched my car. When he was done, my husband mentioned it to him and he said it wasn't him, it must have been the other guy who was there who never even passed my car that way nor with anything that would have scratched it. Besides that during the job, he asked how much they were charging me for the job to see if he was being paid enough.In October we needed one more thing done and I tried to find another electrician but we got outrageous quotes for adding one bathroom outlet. I reached out again but made a point to request that we don't get the same tech who did nothing but complain and who scratched my car. They told me they would make a note and make sure it was someone else, they didn't know about that and apologized. I was at work and my husband didn't realize at first it was the same guy and he let him in to start working. If it was me, I'd have closed the door in his face after I told him I didn't want him there. He did our bathroom outlet, my husband said as usual complaining the entire time. I got home, there were plastic pieces from wires all over when we have two dogs, and he left a hole in our ceiling instead of going into our attic, which evidently he tried, I had insulation all over my clothes in my closet.This man was the laziest bitchiest employee I've ever had to deal with, completely unpleasant. I hope by now they've fired him.Two stars for electric working, out living room outlets still aren't working correctly, though.
Had Sanford Electric install 2 large ceiling fans for me. New electric had to be run in the attic, wall switches and a breakers installed. Booked the appointment with Robin and Eddie with assistant did the work. The price was very competitive, workmanship excellent. Recommended
Eddie provided excellent service this morning. We had several miscellaneous electrical issues that were quickly resolved. They called the day before, arrived on time and completed the jobs we had with ease. I will definitely use them again. We were also referred to them from 2 neighbors that had an excellent experience with them in the past.
Sanford electric company is amazing! We have used them twice now and will absolutely use them again. They are professional, courteous and most importantly, trustworthy. When I called to report an issue I was having at the house they talked through possible scenarios and came out the same day. I would highly recommend this company as the one to call if you have an issue or want to have work done. They are reasonable on prices and execute quality work. What a pleasure!
We had some safety concerns arise regarding our electric and Sanford Electric responded very quickly and made the time to help us until everything was completely resolved. Kathy who responded to our call was extremely accommodating and could not have been nicer, she went above and beyond. The electricians, Eddie and Elijiah, resolved all of all of our issues and concerns and were kind and patient to answer all of my questions. Grateful my friend recommended me to Sanford Electric.
