Coffey employs the best people. I recently had surgery, and I have not yet been cleared for any exertion. Our sidewalk had not been cleared yet, so when they pulled up, I started to shovel the walk leading to where the generator is. Azadeen (not sure of the spelling of his name) was aware of my surgery and took the shovel from me and proceeded to finish the job for me. What a blessing that was. He is truly a kind and considerate person.
In a world where so many contractors are seeking to rob and defraud clients, dealing with Brennan and his team was absolutely a Godsend. I recently took on a full gut project in Troy and from the onset to completion Brennan and his team were the absolute best. They took there time to understand what I was trying to accomplish and came up with an affordable game plan that was perfect for me. The team did a great job and Brennan was very accessible whenever I had questions. He was even kind enough to answer some questions that pertained to a project that he was not being paid for. I truly appreciate Brennan and his team. I only wish that all contractors were as trustworthy and reliable.
I hired Coffey Electric in May to do the electric work at my wine bar in Downtown Schenectady, The space we renovated was formerly a hair salon and we had a fair amount of changes that needed to be made. These included the addition of a security system, outdoor lighting, a speaker system, and of course additional outlets. As someone with no prior construction experience, it was important that I found a team of professionals who were willing to answer all of my questions, and take their time to thoroughly explain the reasoning behind each decision that was made. Carlos and Brennan were transparent and honest when explaining the scope of the work. They took their time and most importantly are well versed in the NYS Code requirements. They have a good relationship with the City of Schenectady which was valuable when it came to ensuring inspections were completed in a timely manner.

I have been a customer of Coffey Electric and Generator (previously Arket) for three years and am happy to say that my experience has been excellent. While their generator installation was high quality and maintenance has been seamless, what really stands out is customer service. When I have called with questions, concerns, or a scheduling need they have always responded promptly and helpfully. Once I called in the middle of the night and they walked me through trouble shooting my generator (operator error—turns out I had accidentally flipped the off switch). More recently, a contractor nicked a wire and Coffey Electric was able to send a technician to my house within a few hours to get everything back up and running safely. Finally, I have been impressed that the company is forthright about costs and never tries to upsell. In fact, I originally became a customer because they were the only company that didn’t try to sell me a generator that far exceeded the power requirements of my house. I am glad I went with Coffey Electric.
