Called for a quote and set up a time for an electrician to come out on 10-29-25 to see what we all wanted. He was on time and very pleasant so we were very excited to work with ward. He told us he would have a quote ready the beginning of the following week (11-3-25), it is now Friday (11-7-25) and we have not received a quote or any communication. My husband called the office on Wednesday and they said the guy would be finishing up on it. We have had no communication and now a week has gone by. Very poor communication, and time management skills. We will not be doing business or recommend them to anyone else.

We called Ward Electric last year to update some wiring and add in an additional breaker box along with the wiring and outside master switch for our new central air AC unit. They were kind, thorough, listened to our ideas and concerns (our house is older), arrived on time, and with all the tools they needed.

While here, my boyfriend’s dad called for their morning chat and heard the electrician was here. He had some concerns about an electrical issue in the barn. As soon as the guys were done here they ran up to the barn to have a look at the issue. After ensuring all was well and safe, they checked in with us and showed us the new electrical they had installed.

I hired them again and they showed up promptly this morning. They are going to install extra outdoor outlets and new lighting in our shop. I can’t wait until they are finished so that we can use the upgrades they are making as we speak.

Always fair in price, always on time, and always perfect gentlemen. I won’t hire anybody else.

We used Ward Electric in 2022 to run electric to a room in the basement that we’re converting into a bedroom and were very pleased with the service so when I lost power in part of the living room last night and couldn’t flip the breaker back on, I called them at 8:00am; a very friendly lady answered and said they would get someone out today. Within an hour Andy called and said he was on his way. 5 minutes later as Andy was driving down my street, I noticed the heating pad that had been plugged into the couch last night had a section of wiring that was burnt. Andy verified that would’ve been what caused the issue and didn’t charge me for the hassle. I’m so appreciative and can’t recommend them enough!

My Dad had a wall outlet that was over loaded and started on fire. I called everyone on google in Sioux City and they wouldn’t come out same day.I called ward electric at 12pm they came out looked at it within 20 mins!! I was shocked and they completely rewired the outlet and we’re done by 5pm. They were professional, and I paid a heck of a lot less than I was expecting. I never write reviews but I would absolutely recommend them to anyone I’ve never received service like that in my life. Thanks guys!

Jared from Ward Electric was wonderful! He was professional, prompt and very pleasant. I had a difficult job for him, but he was able to repair what I needed. I will definitely use Ward Electric in the future.

Not sure now. They lost my check because the service engineer apparently totaled his car. So my check is somewhere in a junkyard. Charlie called. Was supposed to pick up another check but did not. Jared called to ask for another check. At the same time, received an invoice from Colorado. I mailed the check and they cashed immediately! My other check is somewhere in a pile of metal. What a messed up company. I like to hire local, but will not hire them again.
