YELP has this business rated at 3.0 and that seems more appropriate. Just over a year ago, October 2024, we had a Daikin split unit installed in our 250 sq foot space at a cost of over $11,000. I have not reviewed sooner because I don’t like writing negative reviews because I know it can hurt a business but I also believe we have a responsibility to other consumers to share our experiences so they can make informed decisions. I was assured that this unit would IMPRESS but all it has done is disappoint. It does not heat or cool this VERY small space. Epic was called and came out twice only to tell me that it was working properly. We are faced with using space heaters, fans and a portable AC to find any relief from the cold and heat in the winter and summer, respectively. I just find it disappointing that more locally owned businesses don’t stand behind their work or their product. Are we a society that focuses on greed and not quality? My message to those consumers who might be considering EPIC, would be to keep on looking, you’ll thank me later.

Kelvin and Ray were both completely professional, knowledgeable, polite, and friendly. They had to perform extensive work on our jerry rigged & outdated 1974 house. Almost everything was a fire safety and every outlet and switches needed repaired. While maintaining a positive attitude towards many setbacks, they still manage to completed it in a timely manner, just in time to save Thanksgiving. I had no doubts about their expertise. Both my husband and I can sleep better through the night knowing our 2 small children are safe, secure, and warm with their new alcove heaters and tamper resistant outlets. Thank you so much, Epic, for having two such capable electricians.

Epic went above and beyond to help us with a furnance replacement. Epic came in with the best quote, They started the job right away, and stayed late to finish it the same day. All the staff was excellent, from the person taking the calls to the techs that did the bid and did the work. They have made me a customer for life and I will be recommending to friends and family. Their service truly is Epic

Kept appointment. On time. Thorough and professional. Fixed what was broken. Piece of mind. These are five things EPIC/Tieson did that my *former* builder (LCD) and electrician (VECTOR) failed. Tieson checked panel, replaced non-working suspect outlet in the kitchen, only to discover root of problem was MELTED, CHARRED plastic cap and wires, BEHIND PANTRY PANEL, that had three wires not twisted together at all, in a rough-in that had no shield box to prevent igniting combustibles. Thus the gap, arc, heat, melting, and disruption to that circuit. Tieson demonstrated what a *proper*, safe mechanical connection should look like ("pigtail," it looks like copper rotini pasta!). And he installed that shield box (that should not have passed Inspection/code without it). I am lucky my house didn't burn down. My house, my irreplaceable sentimental belongings, me, my pets (including service K9), all at risk. I was both relieved and mortified that such substandard workmanship existed in my house, but at least Tieson checked it and made it right. See pic of charred heat tape in attic, on Pex pipe water lines. Originally installed BACKWARDS by plumber (PACE), then re-arranged and "fixed" by builder (LCD), burned to a brittle crisp between layers of pink insulation batting, also discolored from hot tape. Also, *not* preventing water lines from freezing, repeatedly, every winter, since January 2022. Because builder (LCD) failed to disclose they signed waiver of freeze zone to install pipes in...a freeze zone. That not surpringly...froze. Tieson indicated there is a wide variety of residential and commercial heat tapes, and appropriate, safe uses. This singed heat tape was neither safe nor appropriate. Tieson very thoughtfully walked through the rest of the house, interior and exterior, with my list of concerns, remodels, and additions for projects omitted and/or botched during build. Getting quotes on those to knock out pending time and budget. Even better, EPIC also services HVAC, and has HVAC maintenence programs. I had such a nightmare custom home build experience (2020 to current), I have been systematically replacing original subs and vendors with *reliable* folks now that most warranties are over. Tieson answered all my questions, put my mind at ease for anything lurking in the walls, and gave me straightforward guidance about the projects that I have in mind. I feel optimism now, instead of doubt and dread. I am relieved to finally find an electrician who is competent, has integrity, and values reputation.

On 01/12/2023 Epic Heating and cooling flooded our basement during our home remodel. No apologies or compensation offered by the company. Finally a year later we have our home back and would never recommend Epic fail to anyone. The inspector that Epic did not have inspect the work until seven months had passed failed nearly all aspects of the work. The dishwasher and garbage disposal were not properly grounded and the GFI plugs were all the wrong ones and not in compliance. Filed a complaint with the BBB and no response from Epic a month after filing the complaint. Small claims court will be next. If you want to have two weeks of 17 fans and three dehumidifiers running in your house, while the entire upstairs of the house was already being remodeled, then Epic fail is your company of choice. No apologies or communication, compensation or even a phone call from the owner would have been appreciated. Nothing but silence.
