Update 2/8/24Mr Dudley contacted me this morning in regards to my review, stating that it was unfair. As mentioned, Dudley Electrical did show up quickly and helped with my immediate problem. The issue I had was the follow up service. Mr. Dudley stated this morning that he called me several times and left messages to get me scheduled. This is now two years later, so I cannot confirm, nor deny whether Mr. Dudley did this, however I can state that I called them plenty of times to try to set up the follow up, as mentioned below. Perhaps Mr. Dudley deserves the benefit of doubt. He seems to have good reviews otherwise, but my experience overall led me looking for another company to complete the work needed.-Original Review-They initially were great with getting Dominion to my property as they were not able to help with the power line coming onto my property. I did ask to schedule them to repair a sagging wire I had as a result of the initial damage and this apparently "wasn't a problem" and "we'll fit you in". As this was not a power line going to my house no big deal for me. After a few weeks though I called and you know the rest "we'll make it tomorrow, next week, busy because of storms, etc." I requested this service back in March of 2022, and after 6 "we're getting there" I gave up in September and got another company to take care of it. The other company only took two months to get here! Dudley Electrical sadly does not do what they say the will.
'Someone else' had wired the plugs for my washer/dryer combo, that 'someone' did it incorrectly and FRIED the W/D the first time it was in use - in fact the first 2-minutes everything shut down. Dudley Electric to the rescue!!! Fast, professional, fixed it in a short time, fair prices...especially for the services performed.Grateful they were available. (now for a new W/D...sad).They also did another job that was not on the service ticket.Wonderful to see young men working hard, with a smile on their face, in a tough environment.
Great service at the best price. Matt and Richard did the work for us, after Mr. Dudley himself did the evaluation and recommended what we needed. They were all skillful, efficient (Matt and Richard completed a big job in no time!), and made sure the job was done right. I will definitely use the same company again in the future for anything electrical around the house.
