Dependable Electric is the only company I will work with in Tacoma. The company's owner has many years of experience and it very by-the-book concise. I know if he's on the job the work will get done safely and to the code standards. Honest pricing, good communication and respectful! I would highly recommend Dependable Electric LLC services!

We recently worked with Paul from Dependable Electric, and I honestly wish every tradesperson operated the way he does. He showed up right on time, was incredibly friendly, and immediately got to work diagnosing a tricky electrical issue that had been blowing a fuse in our basement. What really impressed me was how thoughtful and experienced he is. He didn’t just do the basic checks. He walked me through what he was seeing, explained the “why” behind each step, and came up with a clever way to reconfigure things at the breaker so we could isolate whether the issue was the circuit itself or something downstream. It was the kind of creative, veteran-level problem solving you only get from someone who’s been doing this for decades. He also took the time to pull and inspect all the outlets on the circuit, and he ended up fixing several installation mistakes a previous electrician had left behind. No upselling, no scare tactics, no pressure. Just honest work and a clear concern for getting things done right. After he left, the problem was resolved, but he still followed up the next morning with an email, additional thoughts, and even an article about leakage current that he thought might help me understand what happened. That kind of care feels rare nowadays. Paul works hard, works fast, and genuinely cares about the people he’s helping. If you’re looking for someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and truly dependable, he’s the guy. I’ll be calling him for any future electrical work, and I’d recommend him to absolutely anyone. We’ve used Paul on multiple jobs at our house. He always does great work at a reasonable price. The city inspectors agreed that he does excellent work. He always shows up when he says he will and will get your project completed up to code. We will 100% use his services again. Highly recommended.

Another great experience with Dependable Electric today. Paul came out to install a few things for us. He also provided a suggestion to save me some money and make future maintenance simpler. Absolutely phenomenal. We wanted an outlet installed behind our wall-mounted TV to hide the cord, and after struggling to get someone to commit to come out we reached out to Dependable Electric. Paul answered my first call while on another job and promised to get back to me later that day, which he did! Not only that, he was able to come out the following day(!) and get the job done, in about half the time he originally estimated, saving us a lot of money and time. Everything about him and his team was incredible: * Super fast response * Explained everything he was planning to do * Was able to come the NEXT DAY (it was originally tentative based on whether he could make it out that day, but he made it happen) * Better solution than another electrician who wanted to cut up our drywall -- Paul's solution required no clean-up * Worked very quickly and efficiently * Had his work virtually inspected by the power company on the spot * Way less $$ than originally estimated (because he and his team were quick) It's like he snapped his fingers, one minute we had an ugly cord on the wall, the next we're looking at a clean, safely hidden cord with a new outlet. It took me an entire day to process how smoothly that happened. Everyone else we've tried takes forever to get back to us and get on a schedule that's weeks out. We are so grateful for Paul and Tim and team and can't recommend them enough!
