Contacted Eric a week ago for a site visit to provide a quote for today, and the site visit was confirmed. Stayed home from work and delayed all my errands. Texted him at midday to confirm. Received a message at 5.15pm stating he can't make it. Thoroughly unprofessional.
Eric and his electricians are extremely talented and helpful. If you have a house project or want to do upgrades, I highly recommend Moorpark Electric. They have the best service and the best prices.Just wanted to add that in January Eric came to my house to inspect my generator hookup so I could run a portable generator (he didn't even charge me). He even answered my texts when I had questions about hooking it up. The following week we had the Public Safety Power Shutoffs and we were without power for seven days in two weeks. That generator really saved us. Eric and his guys REALLY care about their customers. They are THE BEST! Thank you SO much!
This latest work by Moorpark was a simple one: replace an old outlet (right photo) by our workbench with a GFI version (left photo). Like the previous work they have done for us (replace the house circuit panel with larger one in prep for a solar panel system, run a new 240-volt line to our all electric (none-gas stoves), this work was done very soon after we requested, went smooth and was cost affordable. For this job they even trimmed back the pegboard so a new face place could sit properly against the wall!
This was the first time I had used Moorpark Electric and I am so happy that I found them. It's difficult finding people to work on your home that you can trust whether it be a plumber, a handyman, or an electrician. Moorpark Electric came out to the house and installed flush mounted ceiling lights in our living room. They did an outstanding job, especially in their successful effort to avoid cutting extra holes in my ceiling that I would have had to have patched . They figured out a way to get those lights hooked up without doing that. The electricians who came out were terrific. Eric the owner and his company gave us a very reasonable quote for the work to be done. Definitely, without a question I would use them again.
Eric Goodman of Moorpark Electric has done a variety of small electrical jobs for me for many years. Recently, I hired Eric again for a larger project, to install a Heat Sensor in my garage, as I had installed a Solar System with a Large Battery back-up system. At the same time, I realized it was a good idea to also replace the smoke detectors in my home as they were at least 10 years old.Eric was very helpful in helping me select the appropriate sensors / smoke – CO2 detectors to purchase, which I did in advance of the electrical work / installation to be done.Eric arrived to install the sensor / detectors on time and the installation went smoothly. I have always found Eric to be reliable and knowledgeable. Eric’s knowledge, advice and guidance was invaluable. Eric’s pricing was reasonable and there were no surprises. I was very pleased at how well this project went. I strongly recommend Eric Goodman of Moorpark Electric should you need electrical work done.
