Bret was on time and very professional and cordial. He did a complimentary electrical check of our home, and found out we needed 2 new fire alarms which we had him install. Our fire alarms had not been changed since 1996. We would recommend Mr. Electric to my family and friends. Bret also drove from Columbus. Yvonne and Robert King Holland, OH

Excellent work with Mr. Electric’s Nabil and his fine young associate today in our older home. The team installed two large & heavy fan lights, raised a hanging fixture in our dining room, and hung a shop light in our basement. They helped analyze electrical load from plug-in heaters on our porch. Excellent work from very friendly and helpful technicians. We are very pleased.

I called for a diagnostic and quote. Was cursed out for denying service and left will my switches hanging off the wall after inspection hanging off the wall by Anthony. He also left his belongings (which were later retrieved by manager) as he stomped out my house swinging my screen door. Matthew the manager came out to rectify the situation by putting the fixtures back in the wall but was not sincerely apologetic and diffused the issue of gross disrespect with a defensive claim of miscommunication from both parties! On the other hand Customer service agent Amiya was very pleasant and helpful in quickly forwarding information and disputes to parties. It wa squid to get an appointment. I appreciate their commitment to timely communication and rectifying the issue. I would prefer more experienced electricians with quality customer service. I asked to pay a service call fee but the inspections are free!

Mr. Electric came out and changed out my Meterbase and Panel. I hired another electrician to review their work and this is what was discovered. No Bushing on SE-U Cable, code requires bushing on conductors over 4 AWG No NN connectors on the 40a circuit on the bottom of panel. Doorbell Transformer not connected to panel. Since the Meterbase was replaced with a MeterBase/Disconnect, the inside panel was no longer first point of disconnect and requires 2 Hots, 1 Neutral and a Ground Wire. They took the SE-U Cable, unbraided the Neutral into 2 Braided Neutrals. That is not code compliant. Nothing going to the ground bar. No whole home surge protector No AFCI or GFCI breakers as required by code since the panel was replaced. $8,000 for a Service Upgrade and Panel Replacement, you'd think they would have done it up to code! I will be contacting Mr. Electric to have them FIX these issues!!!! If not, I'll be posting this experience all over social media for the next few months!!!!
