My experience with Ashpaugh Electric was over the top. It started with an evaluation by JR & an estimate by the owner, Brian.My service included an electrical service upgrade, an underground service to a detached garage, hot water heater electrical circuitry, and an AC disconnect installation. (We’re talking about a house built in the early 1950’s.)The pricing was fair & reasonable. (One company’s estimate was DOUBLE that of Ashpaugh’s.)I absolutely love that this company is local & family-owned.It took 3 days to complete the work. Every day, I received a text that Steve, JR, & Josiah were on their way. They were all professional, courteous, on-time, and did quality work. Communication was very good - all the way from Brian, the owner, his amazing office gal Leona, down to Steve, JR, & Josiah.
I had light fixtures and dimmers installed throughout the main level of my home. Throughout the process, I felt I was receiving a quality & reliable service. Price was reasonable, and I was given a discount for getting multiple fixtures done at once. JR and Josiah did a nice job - they were very courteous & efficient. Everything turned out great!

Called early in the morning to describe our issue, received a call back shortly after from owner Brian to let us know they could get someone out later that day. Based on my description, he explained what he suspected the issue to be (turned out to be accurate), that they'd come to inspect it and would present a full quote for the repair before they'd start anything. Upon arrival, our technician, JR, was friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and thorough. He encouraged me to ask questions, explained what he was doing and the cause of our issue, explained out options with zero pressure. Ended up having him inspect our breaker box in addition to the repairs for piece of mind.We intentionally reached out to someone local, and were rewarded with great service; the added touch of Brian, as the owner, returning messages and keeping us informed on the arrival status was something we didnt expect. Will definitely keep Ashpaugh saved in our phones for our future electrical needs.
I had a wonderful experience with Ashpaugh Electric! I needed two pendant lights installed above my kitchen island, and Greg did an excellent job from start to finish. He arrived on time, clearly explained the costs and my options, and handled everything with care. He treated both my lights and my home with respect. Greg was polite, professional, and courteous throughout the entire visit.I’m so happy with how the lights turned out and will definitely reach out again the next time I need an electrician. Highly recommend!
