New installation of a bathroom fan in spring 2025. My old house did not have a fan in there so I hired Powertec for the job. All was well until this fall 2025 when it started to leak water in the bathroom. The duct had not been installed correctly.When I phoned them about this, they sent a technician the same day. Steven noticed the initial mistake and tried to fix it. I called them back a few days later because the fix didn't work and the fan started leaking again.There was no argument or blame coming from this company. Quite the opposite, they were eager to find a solution and Steven came back again to reinstall the duct work properly. (He is on time and calm). They even supplied extra insulation to make sure the duct stays warmer in the attic.They will fix the exterior wall siding in the spring should I decide not to keep the vent they had originally installed too high .Excellent customer service. I was somewhat (very) irrate that this simple installation was not done correctly in the first place but they listened anyway and came back to fix the problem.The installation was still under warranty so it came at no extra charge.It's rare these days but they seem to make the customer's satisfaction a priority. They have only good reviews.

He also found the cause of and repaired a long-term electrical issue. Yay! Kyle made the stressful experience of home repair and renovation a breeze. I had an excellent experience with Powertec Electric here in Winnipeg! I reached out to them for a 200A panel upgrade and an EV charger installation at my home. From the very start, David was incredibly helpful, he clearly walked me through the estimate process, filed all the necessary permits, and scheduled the city inspection once everything was ready to go.On installation day, I was greeted by Stephen, one of their electricians. He was professional, friendly, and clearly very experienced. On the first day, he completed the EV charger installation and ran all the necessary cabling back to the panel. The next day, he returned with Carter to complete the 200A panel upgrade, and they worked efficiently and with great attention to detail.They coordinated everything with the inspector and even cleaned up the work area once the job was done. I really appreciated how smooth and professional the entire process was from start to finish.I'm super happy with my experience with Powertec Electric and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality electrical work!
