We had a wonderful experience with Alexandria Carpet One! I always wanted hardwood floors but thought they were out of reach not only financially, but in terms of time and preparation needed for installation. In need of a bathroom floor repair, we went to Alexandria Carpet One as a last ditch effort after being unsatisfied with the service and pricing of several other companies. We received outstanding customer service from Tanner Champlain: he was knowledgeable, honest, and helped us figure out what we needed. He explained the options and pricing clearly and patiently; their showroom had all the examples in big pieces so we could see them on the ground in appropriate sizes (vs. small samples). At the end of our first visit, thanks to Tanner, we were able to select a gorgeous hardwood not only for our bathroom but for the entire lower floor of our home, with installation, for less than we had been quoted elsewhere for the tiny bathroom alone. When it came to installation, things were equally impressive. Alejandro and his team were prompt, professional, and incredibly skilled, navigating all areas of the job beautifully. We are delighted with the final product and would absolutely recommend Carpet One for flooring in the future thanks to their superior service and great prices.
The luxury vinyl planking (LVP) flooring sold and installed by Alexandria Carpet One looks beautiful in my apartment and the process of working with the company was a pleasure. I am thankful to Tanner, who started the process in the showroom. They have an excellent selection, and I was able to find a cherry-wood-looking LVP after looking at many places online and in person. Tanner was very helpful in explaining the flooring options and installation, including removal and disposal of the old carpet, and moving of my furniture, etc., as needed. Their estimate was significantly better than others (and included installing tiles in a small bathroom). The project was scheduled soon after I accepted the estimate and was done in 3.5 days, including installation of the floors and molding. The whole team, including Tanner, Dwayne, Joseph, and Justin, among others, were professional, helpful, and friendly. They were also flexible and made adjustments as the project proceeded, such as removing and repairing a damaged area under the carpet. Thanks very much for an excellent and very well-done project!
