For our recent condo renovation, we chose Reza and his team, and we couldn't be happier with the results. They completely updated our flooring, replacing old hardwood and carpet with gorgeous wide plank oak throughout the entire home. Our kitchen also saw a significant upgrade with a new quartz countertop, backsplash, and freshly painted cabinets. We also had their team paint the living room, bedroom, and bathroom.What stood out was their comprehensive approach and reasonable pricing. Reza meticulously assisted with the project, providing a detailed design and estimate, was very collaborative with our adjustments. Their showroom offers an excellent selection of materials to choose from. Ardy, Reza's brother, provided expert on-site supervision, consistently overseeing the large and skilled crew that handled every aspect of the remodel, from carpentry and plumbing to electrical and specialized countertop installation. We highly recommend Reza and his team for any home renovation needs; their professionalism and quality of work are outstanding.

I had Reza and Ardy do a total reno my 1980s-era kitchen in 2019. They did a great job, and the price was reasonable (that was pre-inflation of course!). It was a big job, total gut to the bare walls and subfloor, plus some plumbing work to replace an original cast iron drain pipe that was very clogged, and a little work in basement bathroom. Reza came and measured everything carefully and gave a detailed design and estimate, and worked with me on changes. They have a lot of samples in their storefront to chose from for cabinets, pulls, tile, flooring, countertops. Ardy oversees the crews, and comes frequently to check and at all key points. They have a good large crew, handling carpentry, cabinets, plumbing, electrical, tiling, flooring and painting. They had counter specialists in to measure and later install the quartz countertops. In July 2023 I had a couple of the ceiling can lights burn out and they came right away and replaced all four of them. Would use them again.
I have been using Reza for flooring projects for over 20 years now. He carpeted my office on Duke Street, he carpeted my sunroom on Washington Road, he carpeted a duplex I owned on Farmington Road, and even carpeted my motorhome (!!) and did a great job at a great price.The sign of an honest merchant is when they suggest things that do not profit them. For example, on Farmington Road, when we bought the property, there was newer carpet that was all wrinkled up. I was going to replace it but Reza said he could re-stretch it and remove the wrinkles, which he did and it looked great. A lesser merchant would have simply sold me new carpeting. Years later, when the carpet DID need to be replaced (tenant with a dog) he did the whole house for a very reasonable amount.We have a condo in Alexandria and the parquet flooring was looking sad. I asked Reza for a quote on carpeting the place and his reaction was "what's wrong with parquet flooring?" Again, a lesser merchant would have immediately tried to upsell me. But we decided to carpet and they just completed (today) the job, in less than four hours and it looks great and was very, very reasonable.The world needs more people like Reza, that's for sure!
I have worked with Reza on two flooring projects (one hardwood and one engineered) and am now setting up a backsplash project. He has always been professional and timely and I keep going back because I wouldn't trust anyone else to do have the quality materials and knowledge housed at Color Flooring.
