We are extremely pleased with our flooring. We had luxury vinyl plank flooring put on our stairs, hallway and bathroom. The workers were efficient. They worked diligently all day and part of the next. We appreciated how they cleaned up after themselves. We can’t say enough good things about our experience at One Stop Flooring. Go see Don if you’re looking to replace or install flooring. Don was helpful with selections and kept us apprised of the status of our project. Highly recommend them.
One Stop Flooring was referred by a friend when I mentioned wanting to get new LVP flooring installed. Initially, I wanted four rooms and one hallway installed, but ended up getting eight rooms and a hallway done! They offer a great selection, and discuss with you what flooring would work best for your home. Installation began about one week after the order date, which was a nice surprise, as I wanted it completed before Christmas. Randy is a professional and very respectful installer. He worked diligently, only taking a lunch break. He had me inspect every room to make sure it met my expectations. I love my new floors! Than you, One Stop Flooring!
I can recommend them to buy flooring, not that it's any better or worse than a Home Depot or a Lowes, but I'm sure it's fine. However, be aware if you hire them to install the floor they just call guys who work out of their van. They call them "their guys" but really it's just people for whom they happen to have phone numbers. One Stop doesn't supervise or follow-up on the work in any way. One Stop measures and scopes the work, but the installer and One Stop are never in your house at the same time. The installer just picks up the flooring at the shop. If something goes wrong, your only recourse is with One Stop. FIND YOUR OWN INSTALLER!My floor ended up being lower than the original and caused some issues around the door frames (see photos). I now know this is common and expected, but One Stop took no blame for not anticipating this. I asked One Stop to come out and look and he admitted outright that he had made an error initially when he scoped out the project AND he stated outright that the final job was "not up to their standards" -This is a bizarre statement since they only came out when I requested. I am not saying this out of anger or vengeance, it's a statement of fact: They truly don't care (good or bad) about the finished project. They are completely divorced from the install and never ask about the finished product. They even sent me the final invoice before the project began. Once they call the installer their job is done.I found a contractor to fix the issue. Truthfully it doesn’t look great and the total project was $10k. It’s not a good feeling to spend that much money and have a subpar job. The cost for the repairs was $500. One Stop said "We still expect you to pay the full amount you owe us." One Stop is a needless and costly middle man. Find your own installer.
I really want to give these guys a good review. In less than a year the transition pieces have all came up where they were glued incorrectly. Also between my floor and base board there is a gap the whole way around my house. After seeing other luxury vinyl plank floors this is not the norm. Any moisture would immediately go under the floor.Update. They come and fixedMy issues. The floors do look great.
We had engineered hickory installed in the livingroom and hallway and luxury vinyl tile installed in the kitchen. We are super happy with the result. The installers worked a long day to rip out the old laminate and install the new flooring in one day. Aaron (the salesman) was very helpful and polite all along the way. Would highly recommend One Stop Floor Shop. Their products were highly rated, even more so than other flooring stores in Asheville. The engineered hickory is produced by the Somerset company. Their wood comes from Appalachia and their products get great reviews. I know we're happy with what we got!
