My wife and I have been working on a bathroom remodel for several months. After struggling to find the correct tile and flooring locally, our contractor suggested we head to Floor and Decor in Augusta. When we arrived, we were greeted by Darnell. He immediately asked us several questions and then showed us several different options. He was extremely knowledgeable and guided us through the process, pointing out things we had not thought about. He concluded by making a couple recommendations which we agreed to. We ran the ideas by our contractor/installer who concurred with Darnell's suggestions. Later the same day after determing quantities needed, we called the store, spoke with Darnell and placed the order. Floor and Decor has a great selection of quality products. Darnell was exceptional. Overall, this was a superb experience!
Jonathan helped us from start to finish picking out tile, grout, and supporting supplies to do my bathrooms in my new build. He was knowledgeable, and willing to recommend options that looked great, and didn't break the bank. He then helped us on checkout as well with the awful software your company uses to process checks. By the time it was settled, he had my order pulled, and ready for pick up at the dock. Would definitely recommend him to others
I don’t usually post negative reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing.I’ve spent thousands of dollars with this business over time and expected a certain level of professionalism. I had a 1:30 PM appointment with a specialist, drove over an hour to get there, and was not informed in advance that the specialist would not be available.I only found out after I arrived that the specialist wasn’t even in yet. Instead, I was redirected to a much less experienced employee who was unable to help me with what I specifically scheduled the appointment for.This was a complete waste of time, gas, and planning — and honestly, very frustrating as a loyal customer. A simple phone call or heads-up would have made all the difference.Do better. Customers deserve transparency and respect for their time.Update: After posting my original review, the company did follow up and issued a discount, which I appreciate.I’ve updated my rating to reflect the follow-up, but clearer appointment communication would have prevented this situation entirely.
Amazing store that has millions of items that are fit for DIYers and contractors alike.The reps will greet you the moment you enter with an amazing attitude and smile. Each aisle there is a specialist who is eager and ready to help in anything you need, whether recommendations or applicability of the item you are looking for.Thank you Floor & Decor for the outstanding experience and definitely recommend it for everyone to come check it out.
Francesca is the most thoughtful and experienced designer - their inventory can change weekly but she is on top of it. I was able to purchase all my tile for a build and all was in stock- no waiting for orders to come in. She was patient as my design choices were changed then changed back- always willing to help and sincerely wanted me to find what worked. Highly recommend!!
