Ordered and bought SELECT red oak T&G flooring. Got home about 55 miles away. Broke down the bundles to see the quality is indeed Common.No matter the packaging said Select.63 year old carpenter here who has installed much wood flooring. We bought Select and was sold Common marked as Select.Installed the Commom flooring and sanded it heavily to get it close to acceptable in a 190 square foot room.I guess it’s actually all my fault because I bought from LL. Never again.
Krystle at the Augusta, GA is awesome!! She spent over an hour with us choosing flooring and helping us narrow it down and help us with getting a great deal. We didn't purchase floors that day but she followed up with us via phone that night to let us know the floor we picked will be on sale in 2 days to save us hundreds of dollars!! Krystle has such a great personality and really cares about people and I even made sure I went back to the store to order the floors to make sure she gets her commission instead of ordering online. I recently purchased 700+ sq. ft. of unfinished red oak flooring from Lumber Liquidators on Riverwatch Parkway. This was my second time purchasing from this location and this time was the same as the previous, with excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff and timely updates on when my flooring would be delivered to their location. When the day arrived for me to pick up my order the staff came out in force to help load my truck and send me on my way with friendly smiles and thanks. I highly recommend them if you have a flooring project.
I went on line, called the store about a particular product that I wanted to buy. Gray flooring was in stock in several patterns. Arrived at the store, was greeted by Madelyn with a big smile and "You are late." Replied, "I am old and drive slow." I explained what the project was, my previous experience, and what was in stock. We reviewed samples for 5 minutes, chose one, not available in my needed quantity, selection #2 was in stock.Veteran discount, clearance pricing, immediately available, vapor barrier should be used, and sale completed. We had a lively conversation about her career, my military experience, Northern winters, and store sales activity. After more than 20 minutes, no other customers or telephone calls, I suggested I should load my order and leave. Madelyn told me to drive to the side big overhead door, and she would get the fork lift. In just a few minutes my order was loaded off a fresh unopened pallet into my truck and strapped down. I noticed the warehouse was crowded with pallets of new wrapped inventory.What was an ordinary trip to pick up flooring became an enjoyable conversation with two excellent, younger, and knowledgeable sales people. It was actually fun. While I hope I don't need more flooring, I will definitely recommend Madelyn for her expert knowledge and totally outstanding Customer Service. Lumber Liquidators is my #1 for flooring products and customer service.
