Douglas Carpet One has been terrific from Bryon whose first pick was the carpet style I was looking for because the one I originally wanted was discontinued...story of my life. The install team was great. They got the 2 rooms, stairs & hallway done in 1 FULL day. They worked hard I could tell. They were all good gentlemen. Moved everything heavy carefully out of the way & back again & even helped with mom's stair lift rail. From the moment we walked in the store and Mark greeted us everything was fantastic….Well, except for all the times I had to run back and forth with samples. It was so hard to decide which carpet and LVP flooring we wanted installed. When I finally decided, the order process went smoothly and then the flooring installation was completed in 4 days. The both crews were professional and went above and beyond. We are extremely satisfied with our new LVP flooring and carpeting. I had a great experience working with my salesman Mitch and Tom my installer. Mitch helped me choose the perfect glass tile for my kitchen backsplash. Tom did a great job installing - and was very neat. I had just painted the kitchen and did not have to touch up anywhere. One reason I chose Douglas was I worked with one place to choose the tile, have it delivered and have it installed with their people - no dealing with tile stores and contractors. It is just what I wanted! Thanks for a great team to work with. I would recommend them.
The five star reviews here don’t lie. When we bought this house 5.5 years ago we wanted flooring the but the guys who came (not Doughlas) said it couldn't be done because it wasn't level enough. I was sad but dealt. Flashforward and we contacted Douglas One to explore the option again. Jim Douglas came to measure and is very friendly and professional. He assured me it COULD be done despite wanting to keep tile here, having to overlay there, etc. he had solutions, not concerns. The flooring options are wonderful and the pricing is very fair. We chose an LVP (Belinda super helpful picking out and explaining pros/cons) and a fun pattern carpet for the stairs. The installers arrived right on time every day, were friendly, kind, and very hard-working. They put felt on all our furniture, asked Qs when needed, and completed the job in the projected timeline. Jim Douglas came by each day to consult, help, and check in. I am thrilled with the results. Everyone I worked with has been nothing but courteous, professional, and kind. Go here!
